I love how they showed a villain who doesn't crack some jokes just goes straight to his mission! That makes him more badass! Vecna is a well-written villain

Watch it again, Vecna says he believes humans to be disgusting pests that infected the world. And he think’s everything about humans is horrific and repetitive and bland. So, he wants to kill all humans and let the Upside Down take control of Earth. He says the Upside Down is “A realm unspoiled by mankind”.
@@Director_Oompaloompa They explained his motive in Season 4. He's a maniacal psionic bastard with a twisted view on the world and humans, who believes there is no such thing as an innocent human and the world would be better off without them, with just primal animals without sapience.
Not every villain needs to have a sympathetic motive.
@@gebdemediciExactly. He is just evil and has simply a God complex. He feels superior and refuses to live a banal life as he explained to Eleven with the black Widows. He doesn't want to be a pale copy of yet another human. For him the world is broken and humanity is meaningless.

I love this theme sooo much !! It's scary, ominous, unsettling and so fucking awesome !!! I love the part at 1:06, the music here is soooo good !! It just feels very other-wordly and gives an unsettling vibe when Henry discovers and creates the Mind Flayer. Such an epic scene !!
I think what makes this such a great villain theme is it is grand or thrown in your face is slow and gradually builds up but never goes to far it knows when to pull back

Even though the Spider Monster is the avatar of Henry, he is technically the Mind Flayer as he user the hive mind to transform the Upside Down from a peaceful realm, to the hellish wasteland we now know…
