Wow the quality of your videos! Well structured video clear, perfect shots, charismatic presentator! Props to the marketing team! The way you present your product, can’t wait to order my MBRP setup!
@@MBRPexhaust-TV Hey fam, after viewing your video at least 100 times finally decided to order my Catback ! Wow excellent product it sounds great, deep and agressive when you floor it but super lowkey when you drive normally ! 💎 I posted a clip of my cold Starts: ruclips.net/user/shorts9tML8Crgt6k?feature=share
Thank you MBRP !
I had this system installed today and I absolutely love it. Just the right amount of growl. I may never drive with my windows up again!
How’s the drone?
Just ordered mine a few days ago cant wait to get it installed!
Super stoked for a GLI version of it
A very mature approach to a catback system. Reminds me of the stock S2000 exhaust with Helms Res
Got the MBRP exhaust for my Golf R that has carbon tips. I can not wait to put it on! It came to my front door from Canada to Maryland in 3 days! You guys are wonderful.
@@MBRPexhaust-TV update, I've had it on for a couple of weeks now and the little burbles and dsg farts make me giggle like a little school girl. 😂 awesome stuff
Drive by video full throttle from the outside?
@@alexfishing47 I don't really upload on RUclips surprisingly but I have a video on my I.G if you want to swing by and check it out. @ghost3d_r
@@alexfishing47 it is not full throttle, I'm hoping to make one soon.
Yes! Finally. I need.
What a good exhaust! i have this for my gti 7.5
Got mine coming in next Friday, stoked to get this on my cfb mk7.5
I just bought a 2017 GTI that came with this exhaust and it sounds amazing haha props to MBRP
How loud is it?
@@GTI228 pretty much perfect. Can hear it from like 50 ft away under normal load and it magnifies my DSG farts VERY nicely. Also not too loud like a lot of infinitis that try to race me haha.
Installed on my 2021 yesterday. Sounds awesome!
So it fits 2021 GTI with no issues? Because MK7.5 GTIs have slightly different rear bumper/rear diffuser from what I have been hearing..
WOW this might JUST be what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a new exhaust and the OEM is cool and all but it sounds a little low. This is perfect.
I love my golf but it really needs a better exhaust. I might just have to get this, it sounds so good.
man looking at gti’s and exhausts this sounds amazing! would i be able to change the tips?
do you guys have any footage of what this exhaust sounds like paired up with an aftermarket downpipe?
Was the GTI in this video tuned at all or was it stock? Exhaust sounds good, not too crazy loud. When shifting gears felt like I heard a more noticeable “burble/dsg farts” and am wondering if that’s stock tune sound.
Hi there I just installed my mbrp exaust on my gti mk7 I followed all the instructions, I did clamp everything but when I start my car there’s a brown water came out from clamps? Is that a normal? I drove my car around and came back home to check if theres still a brown water dripping and there’s nothing in there. my question is why is that happen? Can you please let me know. Thank you
Hey guys, interested in the exhaust but I wanted to ask a question. When I put this guy on, will I get any check engine lights on the dash? Also those DSG pops sound FANTASTIC
Looking around for systems and came across this. I'd be looking to mate up with an aftermarket downpipe with high-flow CAT. I know you mentioned it wouldn't get too loud but do you have a video example of this?
So many of the systems produce raspy metallic notes and I just hate that. This one sounds pretty nice. I'm also a fan of Cobb for their sound.
Looks like a very nice product. They seem to be out of stock everywhere (as of 6/17/21). Do you have any idea when more will be available. I want one.
is it stock except for the catback? Or do you have anything else that’s aftermarket?
What is a best suggested downpipe for this setup?
Wanting to get this for my mk7.5 gti, is there any drone at all after installing???
Looking to get one of these exhausts for my Mk7 GTI and support a Canadian company!
Sounds great
Does this fit a 2019 golf tsi?
Will this exhaust fit my cts downpipe catted ?
Just received this and got it installed. Great sound and has the DSG pops on upshift. Louder than stock but not obnoxious. I am always a bit skeptical when I see a marketing video but the way the MBRP representative describes the sound is completely accurate. Exactly what I was looking for. Quality appears to be high. I got the CF tips, which I like, but have only one minor (subjective) criticism. The MBRP logo is a bit more conspicuous than I would like. Regardless, I highly recommend this exhaust.
Do u guys ship down south I live in Birmingham AL and it said that u guys don’t have carrier for down here
Any drone at highway speeds?
Will it fit mk7 2014?
There needs to be testing with aftermarket downpipes ,both catless and catted, rarely in the Gti scene does a car remain stock.
With how the EPA it just doesn't seem worth it.
Have you done a decibel test on it with the stock down pipe? Looking to get this but don’t want to get pulled over all the time in California for exceeding 95 db...
@@MBRPexhaust-TV hahah thanks for the double reply. I like to constantly be between 5500rpm and redline soo 😈
Does this require a tune?
Do you ship to the UK?
Highly recommend it sounds better in person, i have it for my 2020 GTI mk7.5
How much louder than stock is it? I like the sound im just worried about it being too loud in California.
i have the same car and I want to run this exhaust with a catless downpipe but dont want it to be horrendously obnoxious, do you have any input? thanks
@@rascal2793were you able to find out best sounding downpipe without it sounding like a tractor?
@@cuban2739 X force full system, bought it and no regrets. comes with a test pipe and highflow cat, and then a resonated and non resonated midpipe.
I thought the mk7 and the mk7.5 had different exhaust setups. How does this fit on both platforms?
@@MBRPexhaust-TV I was wondering the same. The spacing of the openings in the rear valance is wider on a 7.5 compared to a 7.
I ordered mine back in July and I’m still waiting 😫😫
Might pull the trigger on this exhaust, it sounds like you guys are really pushing that there is almost no drone which I’m looking for, but it sounds good when you get on it ?I’ve had a drone exhaust before and it drove me nuts
Also what is the weight of this exhaust ? Seems like it might be lighter than the OEM
MBRP can you let me know what year this mk7 was ?
Thanks
How’s the drone in the cabin? I just did a muffler delete on my MK7.5 and the drone is a bit much sometimes. Looking into getting this!
@@MBRPexhaust-TV Yeah it seemed very quiet in the cabin! Do I need to tune the car at all? I don’t wanna risk any warranty issues since I have a 2020 model.
@@MBRPexhaust-TV That’s exactly what I need, looking to purchase here the next few months! Thanks for the quick replies!
@MBRP Sorry but I don't speak English, I'm using the google translator. Could you just buy the Helmholtz resonator?
@@MBRPexhaust-TV
Is the volkswagen golf in the video the one with 245 hp and is it stock?
are you guys still producing this? i definitely wanna get this in a month!
@@MBRPexhaust-TV actually just ordered today! Can’t wait for it to come in!
I wonder what this would sound like with a catless downpipe... I’m currently apr stage 2 with a catless downpipe. With the downpipe being required for stage 2, I need a catback that would make me go death while connected to a catless downpipe b
MBRP but you’re running stock downpipe
MBRP do you by any chance have any sound clips with an aftermarket downpipe?
@@MBRPexhaust-TV is there a specific one that would fix to this or can you jsut get any aftermarket down pipe and it would easily hook up?
according to ppl who bought this exhaust.. its a lot louder then you describe in the video.
anyone have an idea how long to remove an existing stock system on a brand new GTI and install the upgrade? this time is pertaining to a professional doing the work...
must be around 1-2h, cant confirm, but it really isn't long at all. Easily doable
@@JeremyLabbe-un9dx actually that system won't fit the mk 7.5 so i went with an AWE catback... thanks !
Took it my mechanic and he charged me for 1.5 hours.
I found that out as well and also went with the AWE track edition/black tips.. thanks
Any idea if this will fit on a 2020 GTI S?
@@MBRPexhaust-TV How can this fit both? The mk7.5 has much wider tips and virtually all other exhausts have separate items for 2015-2017 and 2018-2020
@@MBRPexhaust-TV I ended up buying and installing this setup. I am overall happy with the sound, but during installation, I had to fabricate some flat brackets to relocate the rear exhaust hangers about 1 3/8" further outboard on both sides to get the tips centered in the rear bumper cut outs. It would be an easy piece of hardware to include to make the install a little easier for others.

Sounds quite tame and quiet compared to most aftermarket exhausts
I kinda like it tho.
I also live in California so this would be nice
@@jeff_carnelas9681 haha, yeah, probably want to stay under the radar there. I’m sure it would be nice for a daily driver where you want to be able to still make phone calls and talk to your passengers without having to yell or get a headache. I’d love to make it to Cali some day for some coastal driving.
@@JMKGarage you’re right tho, it’s not a cheap exhaust system and for the same price could get a much more aggressive/ louder tone. I think I’ll go downpipe and tune in the future for sound
@@jeff_carnelas9681 yeah a guy I work with also have a mk7 and did that... down pipe and JB4 tune (I think that’s was it was), but kept the stock cat back on... sounded quite nice actually
This whay im
Looking not too loud
to bad the gov doesnt care and having no mufflers is illegal in canada
Mark 7 not Emmkay 7 😂 great exhaust tho
At least film a clear full throttle video from outside if you are trying to market your exhaust for god sake.
Its MARK 7, not "mkay" the car is german
I'm sorry I don't like those tips
