It isn't like WWII where you either have a howitzer that fairs better to aim like a field gun or a 'high velocity' cannon that still has a shell that drops like a rock. If you are having a hard time hitting the harder to hit spots (turret ring, lower glacis, side shots, where the front sprockets are) then you are better off not firing because the first person to *penetrate* is the person who wins, not the first person who fires.
