As a former flight attendant, it made me so happy how excited you were about some little things on the plane "they gave us SLIPPERS!" "the wine is FREE!". There are so many people complaining about the service on the planes, but airlines have to cut costs everywhere and flight attendants are just doing the best they can with what they have to work with. So seeing you being genuinely excited about so many things (instead of complaining) just made me happy! ❤
Omg. People are horrible! We did a SE Asia trip over christmas and the Singapore airlines flight was the best - free wine, meal and pizza (and extra pizza coz loads of people didn't want theirs!!) and a really decent selection of tv and films to watch. I can't believe people complain!

Flight Attendants are Real Ones! Thanks for all you do to help keep us safe and sound on board.
My grandparents often fly Korean air or any of the other Asian airlines, and they say it is one of the VERY best. Staff are so kind and helpful. Their other favourite (and my families favourite) is air New Zealand. Again on of the very best airlines if you want to splurge a little more.

LOL, as an Australian we HAVE to endure super long travel days if we want to go anywhere. Life living on an island at the 'bottom' of the world!
As a New Zealander it’s always such culture shock remembering this distance is NOT a normal feature of life for most people

I’m so excited for how excited you were lol I went to Thailand in 2019 and it really was so comfortable even in premium economy 😂 I was like wow imagine first class !!
I basically did the same trip in 2019! It was tough but I loved it!
There are so many places I will never go in this world simply because I can't fathom doing this. 😂

i was on 32 hrs flight from jakarta to san diego. the flight was delayed in japan which added extra layover hrs. i spend the 9 hrs sleeping jus tlike the rest of us passengers did bc haneda is damn huge

The worst thing you can do while flying is drink alcohol, it's so dehydrating. When u fly home. Take some melatonin or a c b d gummy that always knocks me right out.
It was a price I was willing to pay for a moment of joy tbh

how you stayed up for pretty much the entire time is crazy to me, my best friend and i went to italy and had a layover for that in ireland. i couldn't sleep too much on the way to ireland and ended up falling asleep on the 3 hour flight from there to italy and thank god i did or i would've been a mess. definitely slept on the way back. needless to say, you are a TROOPER!! i can't wait for your thailand vlog!!

I want to go to Japan but the thought of 20+ hours in a plane gives me CRIPPLING anxiety. My longest flight was like 6 hours

America to Japan is only 16 to less hrs flight. 20+ if you have a connection flight going somewhere else

Here’s (unsolicited) tips for next time you’re in the South Korean airport:
1. they have free sleeping rooms/pods
2. they have shower rooms with complete privacy (I remember paying a few bucks but worth it imo)
3. they offer free transit tours where they take you to tourist spots in South Korea and then back to the airport. their tours range from 1hr to 6hrs depending on your layover time :))
We did one of those free tours when we had a 4 hour layover on our way to Cambodia - they took us to a Buddhist monastery just outside Incheon. A much more interesting way to spend the time, than waiting at the airport for hours!!

I've done plenty of 24hrs trips between brazil and boston and I've never been able to get used to it. It's rough!!! Basically, I go between sleeping and feeling incredibly nauseous and gross the whole time

I mean, Iced coffee is a very western world thing... not very common in Brazil for example and we are basically western

@@biancajc if you go to a city tho in most countries (especially in asia bc they love aesthetics), they're likely to have cafes with iced coffee. i think they just don't know much about asian/non-american cultures, and i'm saying this as an american

My longest flight ever was about 9 hours (to New York actually!) and I could not even imagine having to travel for 24 hours. The back pain from being in an airplane seat without being able to get up every hour would be the death of me :')

I can't sleep on planes and I'm so envious of people who can, I've done 36 hour travel days with no sleep and I would not wish it upon my worst enemy
