Right on,
the devil's interval is the most dissonant and unstable would be apropos but that particular relationship of a tone and the one a half step successively resonates dissonantly and is unstable unless it is a half step beneath the root as a dominant 7th of the major7 chord. Not the flattened 7th of all the youthful remembering of g7 ir c7 called out for a jam. But the unstable becomes like a tranquilly sublime like a partly cloudy afternoon. But up in them clouds so actually the major 7 is the antidote to the aforementioned instability but other than that right on to your track sounds good
