"Choke" or "Choking" means underperforming. Simple as that. It doesn't mean that the team that choked is worse than the team that won(beat them); it only means that the better team didn't perform as the often do. Having said that, the 3-1 blown lead comments only prove that the GSW choked/underperformed, not that the Cavs are better. Period.

Before I read the comments, blazers were top 3 teams in the nba (warriors, spurs, blazers) since the all star break and the jazz had the same regular season record as the cavs. When warriors played pacers, they blew them out and klay dropped 60 points in 30 mins on 11 dribbles. Toronto struggled too much against the bucks. With Jabari Parker, they wouldve lost. Personal, I dont think the cavs or lebron flipped the switch. Lebron been balling like this all season. He's just taking more shots, but he almost averaged a triple double along with westbrook and harden. He is currying them while the team looks the same to me. It may seem like the defense picked up, but they are still give up 10 more points a game than the warriors. The teams are just bad. They struggled against the pacers.

Portland is a much tougher team to beat than the pacers. Even though their regular season records were similar, that doesn't matter b/c portland was mostly playing teams in the west. And you're telling me that lillard and mccullom aren't a bigger threat than paul george and the pacers?! If the cavs played the blazers that first round they would've at least loss 2 games. They would not have gotten swept like the pacers. Utah is better than toronto also. Only slightly better. If the cavs played them they might have loss 1 game. Then the warriors have to face either the rockets or the spurs! If the cavs had to face either of those teams, they might not have made it out of the playoffs. The warriors are playing tough teams, it just doesn't seem that way b/c the warriors are just so dominant that no one is competition for them. Nonetheless they're still playing tough teams. Jazz > Raptors because the raptors don't show up in the playoffs. Blazers > Pacers because Lillard can drop 50 in any game and CJ can easily give you 20-25 points. If the cavs played against the blazers, it would probably go to 5 games. Outside of Lebron and Kyrie, the rest of the cavs roster can't handle fast guards like CJ and Lillard.

You CANNOT compare records between East and West teams. If one conference is weaker, and teams play more times within their own conference, then wins in the weaker conference don't carry as much weight as wins in the stronger conference.
