thanks for the detailed recipe, one question, what is the purpose for adding sugar? thanks!
You are welcome, sugar help the roti to get that brown colour quick because I don’t like the black spot on the roti, we have to cook on hot tawa if no sugar is added it turn black instead brown 🇬🇧👍

Cmbien minutes environ ou petri lapate la et cmbien de temps ou laisse li poser avant ou fer ou bann boules svp?
7-8 minute petril et couvert avec 1 torchon cuizine et laisse repozer 30 minutes ❤️🥰

Why sugar? I never use sugar?
Its up to you really but I always put sugar in all my roti, puri, dal puri etc 🥰😋🤗🇬🇧& it help to make it golden brown too.
