Jingles you can't do anything in the AMX 40 (Duck Tank) in a tier 6 game, except be the target that shows up late.
The AMX ELC is the exact opposite
Pixelater4 Yup, but despite the Duck Tank's faults, I love it to bits.
+BoZoiD57 Get it painted like a Mallard. The opponents will be so busy-either laughing or going WTF?- that you'll be able to kill them easily.
I just bought a T-18, Panzer I C, and AT-2 yesterday and have been having a blast. Definately a stress reliever and much needed break from tier 9 games. thanks for the idea Jingles.
Decided to give the Pz I C a try over the weekend after hearing nothing but good things about it; by my sixth game I'd already gotten my Ace tanker badge. I think I'm in love.
When you get the Lovely Loveable Luchs that's love at first sight
"You can pretty much just disengage your brain and rocket around shooting stuff"
Lol sounds like that tank would make DA ORKZ!!! very happy. (if they existed)
***** Yeh I know what yah mean x3 but I did not know that~
and what I meant was, it doesn't need a brain to operate XD perfect orky vehicle

I hate being American, I mean, I love it here, but I hate never knowing if someone is talking about football or football. (real football vs american football)
TheMaxwellVideos You just got about 50 Brit points for saying REAL football. well done.
1000000000000 Brit points I'm British so I have the power
Siggy Cloud Well, to be technical, they're both real football.
To be prideful, only one is real football.
They're just names though. You can normally tell, if you know you're in a conversation with someone not from the states, you can easily assme.
the pz 1 C reminds me of my nephew when he figured out how to take of his diaper and run around the house peeing.
I loved doing that when I was young....
@@user-mr4gv2gw4b lol
Thank you Jingles! Back in my starting days, I watched these videos whenever I could. I'd be a window licker if I hadn't watched your videos. Now I've got my E-100 crew on their 6th perk, and im an informed Tanker. Keep it up!
Kinda weird driving a tank thats has jet thrusters for engines and is only armed with what is essentially an MG-34
I'm sure someone mentioned it but the forums have some things to say about the 7.92 Mauser "Tier-2 German - 7.92 mm Mauser E.W. 141, holds 40 rounds in 5 clips and shoots an 8-round burst each trigger click."
So for every mouse click you are burning through 8 rounds, and 64 damage per click is a heck of a lot of damage for a tier 3 tank! Really the new patch has made the gun more accurate and the tank much more playable. Thanks for the fun video, good to have you back :)
The greatest advantage of the Pz I C is when you're in sniper mode and they spray you it lags like a bitch. Not joking. Whenever I'm trying to get him he just circles me and the bouncing shell effect spams smoke clouding my vision. Could be just me though.
Tim Alban Sorry for late reply, but it still annoys you because of the bounce marker.
I started playing WoTs thanks to the Military History Channel. As a real world U.S. soldier who served on M-60A1 and first generation M-1 Abrams tanks I thought I had discovered heaven inside my lap top. And I had no clue. When I discovered that RUclips had WoTs videos I had already given up playing for the competion of it and now only play for personal enjoyment. This video would have been priceless to me a year ago. Keep up the excellent work and don't forget that "noobs" need guidance too.
I got my first top gun in the 1c been in love with it ever since

ziggyzack1234 USHANKA!!!
Awesome! Ever since you convinced me to buy the Luchs many moons ago, I've been waiting for this video. Thanks for another masterly review!
My Problem with high Tier Tanks in WoT and is that you almost everytime need a T34 or Löwe or something like this, to get the money to buy Tier 10 Tanks :/
And people like me, who dont have the money or dont want to spend it on Games like Wot, almost cant get those Tanks....
Just buy a normal tier 5 or 6 tank you like. Almost impossible to lose money in these. Financed my T92 and Fv215b (183) with a M44.
MustangnfsQc YEah, I do so too, but it takes years to farm money with them, especially if you aren't a very good player, as me :/
Thomas Kreutzer
then you probably don't need to be aiming for tier 10 until you improve. you don't want to see the ammo and repair bills if you think the tank itself is expensive! tip: find something you like at tier 6 or 7, and stick with it for a while. get better and better at playing it. and the money will come in. Bad idea to power grind to tier 10 if you don't have the skill to play as a tier 10 tank.
fakiirification Oh, I play the Conqueror with an average dmg of 2.2k :P
there is always a choice to grind 1 line
The luchs has actually the same amount of shots for the 3cm gun (if not more) with the stock turret. It shows that it has 4 clips, but it fires 3 shot bursts with them (with the exception of the last shot in the clip, which is only a 2 shot burst). Plus, the stock turret rotates a lot faster than the upgraded one.
have any of you noticed how the OI shell goes in slow motion? do you think a pzic can outrun the OIs shell? (no realy)
No
+mich ael no but i have dodged many of the oi's shots with the 1c
The derp guns usually shoot slower than other guns.
thats why there is howitzer dodgeball
+Collin O'Neil not usually, they do
The Pz 1 C was the first tank I got 7 kills in, and for that it's my favorite tank.
I got into a game with 10 Panzer 1 C earlier. It was fun.
Peter Seagrave That's a lot of shells in the air! What's fun is that kind of game with a good gun sound mod in it with hit sound mod as well. Sounds hilarious! :D Or Province with a bunch of auto loaders, mahah, it looks like it's raining sideways :P
Shawn S. What tank were you in?
ExtraGenius Ah, sorry, that was a long time ago, I can't remember. Might have been another PZ1C, a Tetrach(sp?), or even my 2J, no idea, sorry :/
Peter Seagrave I just go in my T1 when I'm having a bad day.
Jingles you are wrong. The Pz 1 c's good gun actually spits out 8 rounds every time you pull the trigger. Just look at the ammo counter before and after you fire. So with its 5 round magazine you actually get 40 rounds.
92 Km/h with my Pz I C. down the Himmelsdorf hill
Then drift :P
I got over 100 on a jump
I have suspension on my ELC and it has save my life so many times! the fact that I have repair for one of my perks also helps so I don't stay tracked for as long.
this game should have a map editor just think of the possibilities
They aren't too different. It really just depends on whichever tech tree you want to go down since you'll most likely only be playing them for a few battles before moving on.
have you been in a kv-2 and got killed by a luchs
That was very generous of you, thanks! I don't want to encourage this sort of thing, though, I'm supposed to be the one giving you guys stuff. ;)
I laughed so much with the 1c because allot of times it kills the tank crew before you destory the tank
Even more with the T1 Cunningham :D
Thomas Kreutzer the t1 is equivalent to a tommy gun on tracks
the only time it doesn't shoot is when it's reloading
:D
luchs even better. You burn enemy tanks very often. Auschwitz jokes incoming in 3...2...1...
Waiting for It...
Never forget about the little guys. I've been stuck at Tier VI ever since getting the Cromwell. I just cannot manage to get enough experience to progress anymore.
Actually...
I got my Cruiser 3 to get to like 108 kph.
THE KRAKEN
Ru 251, 120+ km/h ;3
Cool. Now make the kraken drive.
M8a1, 137 kph.
Wait does launching yourself off a cliff not count?
TheRancidMarshmallow no it does not :)
Austin Duong-Van I got my Tog II* to go 18 km/h
Jingles: "You can't expect to see Erwin Rommel driving tier three tanks"

True enough. The sabot lets the smaller round capture the full energy of a larger barrel and concentrate it into the smaller round. I've fired a few in my old regiment.
i did 108 kp in pz i c downhill
I agree. VK 30.01(D) and VK 30.02DB are great tanks. The former is my favorite medium tank, nosing out the Panther. It's fast moving, fast firing, accurate as hell, and has surprisingly bouncy armor. It can snipe, it can brawl, it can do it all. Just a masterpiece of non-existent engineering!
It's because of how long the barrel is, the high velocity & mass of the round, and just the near-perfect ballistics of the round. Those factors allow the .50 to destroy most targets aside from roughly post-WWII tanks & larger naval targets.
I'm not sure about terrain, but shots can bounce off tanks. In some cases, the bounced shots can even hit other tanks, or even the tank it bounced off originally. Also, artillery tends to have some small splash damage radius, so even missed shots can do a bit of damage.
Thank you for posting this Jingles, I had some of my best games in the pz2g and the luchs. To the point of the mastery badge in the luchs,, and I'm glad your posting it down for average players who don't really have the higher tiers.
The upgraded turret boosts the performance of the 3 cm gun, pretty sure it fires it's bursts faster and reloads the clip faster. I tend to find that with the length of the clip reload of the 3 cm compared to the 20 mm, from when it was T3, that you do less circling and more drive-by strafing, or peek-a-booing.
What I've found with the Luchs and the 1602 is to act more as support with the 30mm and to do a burst of damage on top of your teammates and scout if need be. I've had those 30mm cannon shots go very far and still penetrate unlike the 20mm cannons of other tanks.
thank you mrJingels after watching your pz II G video i started to play it again (i sold it after the first battle now i bought it back) and in the second round i played (the 3rd round i've ever played the pz II G) i got a top gun and mark of exelence so thank you for helping me out with giving me a nice tier 3 troll tank :)
in my tier 3 troll tank army
Being welcomed back to World of Tanks with the mighty Jingles is the best part of my day! :)
Just picked up a pz1c off Jingle's recommendation and he is absolutely right. Loads of fun. Like an original mini thou with a mounted machine gun.
Hey, Jingles, I was looking at noobmeter and I saw that you recently passed the 10,000 WoT games played mark. Congratulations!
The Pz. I C actually fires 8 shells per burst. So you're firing 40 rounds per magazine.
On the Pz Ic you should train the skill which increases the chance to hit modules or crew on enemy tanks. The number of shots penetrating nearly guarantees mod or crew damage on your targets.
I have the same thing there with the Luchs, it has been sitting in my garage collecting dust because I'm worried about the same thing. The first couple of matches after the patch didn't do much to quiet my concerns either.
It is sad because I have so many great memories from driving that thing I ought to give it another shot.
Probably with HE shells you'd get splash damage, and that would be helpful since the underside is always the weakest armor. You can also really make the most of the splash radius since most of it would be hitting some part of the tank.
I remember the horrors of the scout matchmaking.
Luckily they got rid of it.
Ironically, AFTER i played the french lights so far that scout matchmaking would no longer affect me -.-
There have been ballistics tests showing WWII surplus AP ammo going through 2 inches of modern armor-grade steel. From the exact same model of gun.
When doing reviews on lower tier tanks you might want to do the tanks that lead to multiple trees such as the Russian TD's. People often come to youtube to find out which tree they should follow, clearing up which aspects of lower tier tanks get covered in high tier tanks will give a clear view on that.
The 3cm M. K. 103 is surprisingly useful, even in the higher tier games. The Leopard 16.02 also gets it, and I've tracked more than one IS-3 with it. It doesn't really 'upgrade' like it did from the Pz. I C (2 burst/3 magazine) to the Luchs (2 burst/ 5 magazine), but more of a sidegrade (3 burst/4 magazine). It's still more shots per magazine, but you have to stay vulnerable that little bit longer.
Jingles, have you done a video on the Leo 16.02? I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.
jingles if you fire one shell out of the 1c you fire 9 projectiles. so when you empty the whole canister you could have done 320 damage if all hit and penetrated.
Awesome videos .
ELC AMX going backwards as it passes the Duck - freaking funny.
Jingles i barely survived your vacation, thank god you are back.
To be correct, the gun of the PZ 1c shoots 8 shells each time you push your mouse buton. So for an entire magazine shot, you just unleashed 40 shells in the face of the unlucky chosen.
Damn I love this tank :P
The Luchs has actually both: a 4-shot-clip AND a 5-shot-clip, depending on your turret.
However, with all upgrades it makes for a good passive scout on higher tiers and it can dish out quite decent damage in its own tier.
Worth the grind, IMO.
It's also restricted to the 20mm guns without it.
I've broken 100 speed on the Pz I C and you can get some sick air on it, I'm starting to get more and more games where I'll get 5-7 kills on it, too. Atm one of my fav tanks, I have 25k experience sat on it and I'm simply not upgrading to a Luchs, it's just too much fun.
The luchs is basically a Pz I c when it's upgraded with the needle 3cm gun
Not sure if you can do that, however there are high explosive rounds which can do splash damage, if you don't know that already
You forgot the 30mm M.K. 103. With 95mm pen, it's arguably the luch's best gun, especially considering how often it gets into high-tier games.
When I first bought these two, I looked at exactly what Jingles said: "8 damage? Screw that..." I bought the IIG because of the tier V Mk. 103. A while later, I bought the IC. If I had to choose between the 2, the IC would win hands-down.
The only question for me is which gun to use. The well-proven Flak 38, which allows you to put a bit more distance between you and your target, or the Mauser's psychological terror factor and never-ending buzzsaw. A 100% crew makes the Mauser shine.
But there were fully-automatic 7.92mm weapons, so that's a reasonable variation. It's just that a lower caliber with lower velocity shouldn't be able to have much higher penetration than a faster & larger round...
Honestly, I find that the Aufkl. Panther plays quite well, even in Tier 10 and higher matches. It's not much of an active scout, like the American line, but, it does great to get into a hidden spotting position, then get binoculars and camo net up and sit there. It's also fun ramming them American light buggers, because it is quite a ways heavier than them.
Lol, why did I say higher matches? X is the highest you n00b.
So... are you asking if you can hit the ground under a tank with enough force to lift over 8 tons of metal into the air high enough for you to then reload and fire another shot into the bottom of it? That's what I see when i read yours.
I once saw a composition barrel .. very odd contraption.
Basically, the first bit was like an ordinary smoothbore gun and then it narrowed alot about halfway, wich peeled away the sabot and, using the narrower barrel to further increase the muzzle velocity of the round as the powder burned.
It was just a prototype though, and never made it into production, as the sabot extraction mechanism was expensive and complicated to build.
The idea was that it would be a Super Sniper Gun on a tank.
plz help while I am playing this game I can't see the whole tank why what's the key for this ?
The 1C fires 8 shots every time u pull the triger...so thats 40 shots per clip...its just fantastic...
Nice review Jingles ! You influence my gameplay a lot !
Damn right the luchs still has it! I have the most ace tanker games out of all my vehicles in that adorable bundle 'o' fun and regularly score top 5 damage positions in tier 7 and 8 games. Killing tier 8s near the end of the match is just brilliant and I recently got an Orlik's medal in it.
You didn't make a mistake Jingles the Luchs gets 4 shots with the stock turret and 5 with the upgraded turret with the 30mm gun
Thank you for your service! Now, what was it like being a part of the crew of an M-60A1 and 1st Gen M-1 Abrams? I bet it was exciting! I felt I should've gone with 19K mos but I chose the artillery and then aviation fields instead. I ets next month (6 yrs Army).
Also jingles, that Aiming time is deceiving. The PzII G gets a lot more spread when you move than the PzI C for example. So you actually need to aim more than 2.3s. A lot more. Get a stopwatch and measure it yourself, you'll see.
goddammit Jingles now you got me addicted to these little things! I hope your happy with yourself
One of the great things about the Pz1Cs is even if you're missing with the gun, just its being around other tanks causes disorientation and loss of concentration. It especially does this if you're the one being circled and shot at by the little bugger! I've been on both ends of that stick, and I prefer being the one doing the shooting from the Pz1C!
Depends if you like auto loaders or not. I would recommend a Heavy, Medium and Tank Destroyer.
If you want a fast heavy = IS-7, Good all rounder = IS-4 or T110E5 (IS-4 has better overall armor, T110E5 has better frontal armor and a better gun), Just a fat slab of Steel = Maus. Avoid the 113 and E-100.
For mediums, if you want to snipe = Leopard 1, if you want a great flanker or want excellent DPM = T-62A, a great all rounder = FV4202 or M48 Patton, most overall armor (Also very accurate and
The AP rounds can easily rip through 2-3 inches (51-76mm) of armored steel. Or 3 feet of reinforced concrete... It is an insane weapon to be on the receiving end of.
Probably the best (together with Leo 1, T57 heavy, AMX 50B, batchat and T110E5 as well) tier 10 heavy tank, played it on various test servers, and I really like it!
I am proud owner of Pz.l c!!This little bugger kicks ass as hell! I keep having it in my garage for a long time.I have 200.000 exp with it! Usually i get 5 or 6 kills in a standart game.It is funmachine. With 100% crew,it takes 8 sec to reload! Its amazing.
Jingles the luchs first turret gives the 30mm autocannon a 16sec reload with a 50% crew and no vents
I know it's below your paygrade, but you should do a comparison of the Tier I tanks. A true beginner's guide.. Maybe spend 10 minutes on each one, talking about the good and bad things about each one, some tips for newbies. I just started playing and haven't found any decent guide like that on RUclips.
Jingles, thank you so much for showing me the 1c.
It made me want to play WoT again.
The smaller the bulet, the easier it is to push it trough steel.
Hence why armor piercing rounds uses sabots to fit them into bigger gun barrels.
That Pz. 1 C is by far my favorite tank. I nicknamed it "The Skipper" since it practically skips around the battlefield going 'trololololololololol'
from what we can gather from his voice, we under stand he is ageless and he measures his life in wisdom, not years.
my strategy in the Luchs is to get in point blank range at the rear or side and don't let go of the trigger and then get the hell out of there then if they don't die repeat the process
Pz1c mg stats: 8 seconds to load the clip. 5 bursts in the clip. Each burst is 8 bullets. Each clip has 40 bullets spewing out pf it
You did read my comment right? What is a Super Pershing going to do against a Tiger II? Or an IS-3? Not much unless you aim for weakspots but at range that's pretty hard with 0.38 accuacy and 170 pen. You have to resort of prem most the time when you are against high or same tier tanks.
Same with the E-100. It's like a Tier 10 Super Pershing.
Its the 7.92x93mm EW 141 Aircraft machinegun, All thought I do agree with you it isn't just the plain old 7.92x57mm MG34
I love my PZ 1 C. It is the most fun tank to play, win or lose. Like you did in your tier 5 game, I will run pass the other enemy tanks to kill their arty. Its a blast to play.
Pz 1 c is the funnest tank in the game. Unless you get tracked. Then it gets unfun. Real fast.
I think if you got a SU 122 54 on the live server you would really enjoy it. It is a tough grind but worth it.
btw Jingles I do recommend to play the AFK Panther. Apparently the only way to get the RU-251 tier 8 german light tank when it comes out.
Low tier matches can be fun, but you can't really rely on teammates. I've got plenty of situations when I was raging so much about stupidity of people. For example: Karelia. You got a pretty fast tank and it's on tiers III. You are going for the hill, as it's giving you and your team tactical advantage. And you find your team camping before the hill around J7-K7. And the enemy team just circle you from two sides, destroying with ease... push becomes a lemming train, lemming train loses the game as usually.
You guys messed up. HE was talking about the jagpanther not the jagpanzer. and the jagpanther has the tiger 88. check the wiki
The best way of dealing with a Pz IC is driving a T-70 with the 45mm and keep your sloped front to him.
The Pz IC can't penetrate the Front at all.
I once got a steel wall in it, while facing some rather inept guys with a Pz IC, a T82, a Pz IIIA, a Stuart and some other tank, and came out on top.
I had backup at the beginning of the Fight, he died soon, and then fought them alone for 2-3 minutes alone until I got backup at the end.
...and lived to tell the tale.
I run a Luchs in WOT and it's loads of fun sneaking around in it. Yeah, I usually get killed, but I also earn spotting points on level VI tanks since I'm so damn small and hard to see. Teeny tanks are fun tanks and although they tend to die in large numbers, they can make points by scouting and spotting even if they don't fire a single shell.
Rod Herass True that.
Addendum: While the autocannon may seem fun, it scatters like a sawed-off shotgun. Unless you're making love to your target, most shots will either miss, ricochet, or bounce off the IS-2 or the T-34 who suddenly discovers you've been peeking at them. My weapon of choice is the 5cm cannon. It loads fast, is accurate, and has saved my tail a few times by distracting the tank aiming at me.
Further addendum: When scouting, back into position. Why? The Luchs is much faster in forward gear than in reverse and if you get spotted, hiding or running away is your only chance of survival. I usually park on the crest of a hill so when I need to I can drop out of sight faster than most cannons can aim. Can't do that in reverse, unfortunately.
Brought the 1C for a bit of fun... what FUN!. Karelia map, straight down the middle on start, 71Kph, scattered em like rats, 3 kills and still got out alive :)
Thanks Jingles.
The T-28 has 20mm of armour all-round. It's like a bar of candy, and one of the few delicious exception to the rule. The ELC doesn't count cause it 1-shots the 1.C.
Pz I. C is one of my favourite tanks in the game! It is super fun and super affective to most tier 2-4 tanks, i just love the little thing!!
I must say, the pz1c going downhill at 90kph is an amazing rammer. i rammed a medium with twice the armor and twice the weight, and only lost half my health and my tracks
:D
Jingles, i don't know what your talking about when you said the Panzer 2 G has a 20 second reload, my crew is 79% and i have a 16 second reload..
