On this one I side with the orcs. I don't know precisely why, but I find Ashenvale oppressive. Maybe it's because the night elves were after Thrall and is grunts on the account of a couple of trees (I guess this was my inception point as a horde player) and my fear of getting ganked by allies there when I was a beginner, finally on neutral territory.
