  • RAZOR'S EDGE | The Scott Hall Story (Full Career Documentary)
Scott Hall is on of the rare performer’s who is in many ways the total package. He’s an excellent in ring worker with great promo skills, tons of charisma, and a fantastic physique to boot. With all that going in his favour then, there really should have been nothing stopping him from reaching the top of the wrestling world. And while in some ways he did just that, becoming a key factor in one of the most game changing angles in the industry’s history, his personal demons certainly had a firm hold of him, stopping him from going even further than he did. Still that’s not to say he hasn’t achieved more than most other performers could dream of in their lifetime, so join us today as we take a deep dive into his entire career journey in Razor’s Edge: The Scott Hall Story.

All things considered, this was a happy ending for Scott Hall courtesy of the living angel himself, DDP. The way he was living at his peak it could have gone much worse and much sooner. DDP gave him ten years and a fair fight with his demons. Whether or not he truly lost to them in the end doesn't matter- because he got his life back before his body gave out.

Bischoff really should have set Scott aside and turned him into his own Triple H, like what Vince McMahon did. Scott was brilliant but he always needed a hand to keep him from falling to his personal demons, which Bischoff could (and should) have done. Scott Hall could have fought his demons one step at a time, but consistently and build himself a reputation as a creative talent with managerial potential years down the line.

A lot of people when discussing some of the best in ring technicians ever to do it sleep on Scott Hall. Had he not had his personal demons issues pop up I think this wouldn't be the case. He absolutely deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as the Masters like Bret Hart, Curt hennig, Chris Benoit, Ricky steamboat, Randy Savage, etc. And then when you talk about charisma....man this dude was elite

Erich Bischoff badly misused Scott Hall during his time in WCW. Granted that Scott propelled the nWo to insane heights of popularity- but the fact that he did should have been a sign that Hall had potential for the backburner jobs like story-writing and booking. Had Bischoff realized Hall's true potential, he could have had his own Triple H before Triple H became famous for what he does right now- and maybe WCW would still exist independently of WWE.

I've never seen a guy's physique change so much so rapidly. Jacked to really thin/lean then to really overweight.

My 1st exposure to Hall was the n.W.o & I loathed him; he reminded me of the bullies I spent afternoons fighting for the sake of friends who couldn't fight. Now that I'm older, and know more about him, he has become one of my absolute favorites... add the real life redemption story... he's become something of a hero/symbol for me
So here's to the (best) bad guy (who sounds like a great guy)!

Hall has stated he was never drunk going into a match no matter how he looked ( just because ur sober that moment, doesnt mean ur body isnt feeling the effects) because he would work like shit... and just because he gave that reason , i believe him. RIP to one of the smartest most charismatic wrestlers we've ever seen!
