Absolutely. I've supported Arsenal for 40 years. I remember having a similar feeling after Wengers first half season when he got us to 2nd. You could smell it in the air. Everything about the club was better. And you could sense something was happening. I haven't felt like that as an Arsenal fan until probably season before last during pre season. There was something about the team. As far as I'm concerned, it's only a matter of when, not if. Arteta is building something very special. When this current team wins it's first trophy, I feel they will win a few more. Clubs have cycles of success or failure. Arsenal are at the beginning of this new cycle. Very exciting to be an Arsenal fan. It's been hard for the last 20 years😂
Hopefully a couple of league titles and a Champions League.

To be sure to win they need to see they need another striker. A 20+ goals striker. That could be Havertz or Jesus, but if they misfire. You need another. Martinelli or the belgian on the left need to score 10-15 goals or they need to strengthen there too. I would love Florian Wirtz to Arsenal. A creative goal scoring midfielder to share that responsibility with Ødegaard.

AFL allows a couple of players from each club who are legends of the team to exist outside of any salary, cap or financial regulation. I think something similar could apply in the Premier League.
I agree with the sentiment shared about this being Arsenal's golden period, but let's not get it twisted.. outside of Ben White; Arsenal haven't spent that much on their defence individually at all.

Compared to the likes of £60-70m per defender that Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City spend... Arsenal's are incredibly reasonable. That said, I do think Arteta needs to win them something this year.
Either the EPL or UCL. Can't complain that he hasn't been backed; he's been given ~£600m+ to spend on players across 5 years and he only has 1 FA Cup and 2 Community Shields to show for it.

Literally haven’t spent 50/60m on any defenders. When are these presenters gonna do some basic research before speaking with such authority. Saliba was around 20, Gabriel sub 20, Zinchenko, around 30, Califiori around 40, Timber around 35 etc. AFC have only made one massive signing under Arteta and that was Rice.

I as a United fan I am not so jealous because we have already signed a top prospect in Yoro so I will be honest and just say he looks a very good player - cant say he stood out at the Euros but from the clips I have seen he looks very good. Undoubtedly, Arteta is a good manager but it's obvious he is not a coach since players do not improve under his guidance. Martenelli will be Martenelli this season relying on pace with no intelligence. Saka will play one good game in 3 or 4 score against mediocrity but remain praised as exceptional. Odegaard will set his hair perfectly as an excuse to avoid tackling. Rice will forget the object of the game is to score believing it would be safer to pass backwards than to see a telling pass forward. I'll be surprised if anything changed this season to be honest and even though we will win more than lose we will play slow functional predictable football that won't help to do anything amazing in Europe other than to use it as a record to show qualifying in itself to be a major achievement and in the minds of some delusional Arsenal fans the next best thing to wining the cup. Not bad for a 600 million spend. I predict Arteta will serve as long as Southgate but win absolutely nothing but when he goes be known as our most successful manager using some mental gymnastic statistics conjured up on Talksport or SykSports.
