REMEMBER: I ranked the entire group according to their performance abilities since as an idol stage presence is more important than actual dance ability.

As a chinese person I can say that chinese dance is pretty hard and Yiren do it perfect. I think forevers saying Onda is better because kpop dances are more like her style. Onda is better in hip hop, yiren is better in chinese dance etc
Technique is not something subjective. Onda does have a better technique than Yiren.
I agree that others also deserve their moment to shine but Mia is incredibly talented and fans that undermine her talent just because she is pushed the most are annoying
OH MY GOD I know Mia is kinda pushed too much but I think she's very well deserving of it too coz she really is a full all-round performer!! She's just that IT girl!

-Sihyeon is average definitely not below average. She is really good for being the worse in a rookie group. She may lack stamina but she is very stable
-Onda is 3rd that girl can dance she much better than Yiren
-Mia is literally known for her facial expressions more than anything else in her dancing
It’s about idol dancing not overall. That’s why yiren is above.
I think Onda's dancing is boring to watch. She's not a bad dancer at all, but she isn't interesting either. Imo that makes her lack of lines even more unfair

Okay guys some people are just plain dragging Yiren. Some are not even being respectful. FYI Yiren was never trained before in modern/idol dancing. She trained to Chinese dancing which is somewhat similar to contemporary dancing.
If you ask a contemporary dance to beat a hip hop dancer, do u think she stand a chance? And same thing , if a hip hop dancer is told to show flexibility, do acrobatics , do u think she can do better?
Onda is trained way more than Yiren and she is trained in hip hop/idol dancing.
It’s same situation as Mina from twice. She is ballet dancer, and she has main dancer title if I’m not wrong
If you judge Yiren based on flexibility and acrobatics, onda doesn’t even come close.
And here so we are judging based on idol dancing, right? So, onda having the background gives a slight advantage.
But Yiren definitely has way more stage presence and better expression.
And as I said you can’t compare a hip hop dancer and a contemporary dancer.
It depends on the outfit and shoes on that day whether onda dances better or Yiren.
Because of you see their performances yiren eu and Mia always gets the highest heel.
For me, Yiren wins in power, stage presence, expression. Onda wins in technique, clarity/detail movement. Overall I prefer yiren.

I agree, but as a trainee she did take basic hip hop classes, as well as going through pretty strict training during pd48, so I don’t think it’s an excuse for her to lack so much coordination in dances as simple as theirs
I’m happy you expressed your opinion but I personally disagree. (I’m a dancer in hip hop and Indian traditional dance) Onda is the most versatile dancer in everglow as well as having the best stamina. Both her and Yiren have the most fluid movements of everglow but in my opinion Onda is a better overall dancer while Yiren is the better idol dancer. I think that was why Yiren was ranked higher because it’s idol dancing.

Produce48 was rigged, some trainee were even told to learn choreo in secret before the others. And why you’re bringing pd48 lmao, Yiren is better than half of the girls who debuted in izone , and it’s not like Yiren don’t know the basics lmao. Stop degrading her as if she’s the weakest in dancing when she’s not.
My ranking based on technique
1- Mia
2- E:U
3- Onda
4- Aisha
5- Yiren
6- Sihyeon
Aisha technique is the worst out of the group
My ranking as an ex ballerina and contemporary dancer
1. Mia (great energy, rhythm and facials but where she shines is fluidity is I was blown away at how amazing she is the only thing is her torso is too controlled and sometimes looks stiff but that’s pulling hairs)
2. Onda (she can choreograph talented queen, her dynamics, movement and fluidity are amazing but she has no charisma)
3. E:U (same as Onda but with slightly less accurate timing and not as much flexibility still amazing )
4. Yiren (her body while dancing is very nice her moves are clean and she’s extremely charismatic and flexible but I think she needs to work on her stamina)
5.Aisha (powerful, sharp and confident even though not very versatile she has this fiery passion which I love in her dancing)
6. Sihyeon (good centering, flexibility and rhythm but her moves are unclean and not very powerful also needs to work on stamina)

I've done ballet and contemporary for a rlly long time, and have been doing hip hop for a year or so. I really agreed with this, and your points were really well explained, even your opinion ab onda I could agree with and understand, even though eu is always considered first 😊
As much ppl hate Mia. Everglow would definitely not be the same without her! She’s one of the best all around female kpop idols !
All of Everglow are pretty good dancers in my opinion. I feel like all of them except for maybe Sihyeon were trained to be primarily dancers, and even then I think Sihyeon could maaaaybe be a lead dancer in another group.
My opinion on ranking:
1. Mia
2. E:U
3. Onda
4. Yiren
5. Aisha
6. Sihyeon
Basically the same as yours, except I think Onda is better than Yiren. I have a hard time deciding between the top 3 personally, at first I thought E:U was the best, then Onda, and now Mia.

Edit: Aisha was only placed low due to her lack of experience compared to those above her.
@@currycurrenkpopfor me yiren lacks facial expressions and doesn't have versatility for the different concepts, she's always with the same face and has tendence to over-dance. i would definitely put onda and aisha in third and fourth place, but it's okay, we all have different opinions and i respect yours♡
@@currycurrenkpop but weren't you ranking dancing? yiren's skills are drastically lower than onda, so idk, i don't think it's fair. as much as i like yiren, she is 5th in a dancing ranking XD her moves are a iny bit awkward and stiff.

Mia is crazy good. Some people were salty about her having a dance solo in Dun Dun, but she definitly deserves it

Everglow are such a talented dance group. Mia is FANTASTIC and E:U and Onda are so, in my opinion, superb dancers. Yiren is great and has improved so much. Even their ‘weakest’ dancers are good idol dancers and keep up well! Great analysis

Obviously! Face expresion, energy technique she got all that in her pocket, even though her outfit dont have a pocket lol

Same as Mia, but her style is a bit more different, like more relaxed but sometime her style make her look like she is underdancing. That why i rank her in 2nd.
3)Onda
Onda is on the same level with E:U, the only thing she missing is the FACE EXPRESSION, if she have that, she probably going to be ranked higher than E:U.
4)Yiren
No i dont think Aisha is a better dancer than Yiren, Yiren have that ability to dance but she dance to chinese song alot so it became apart of her. So that why her move is a little softer but that doesnt make her less talented! It just apart of her.
5)Aisha
Her dancing are good, she just lack technique and always overdance which make her look like she is bad at dancing. She also have a long limbs which is a disadvantage but it not weakness, it just her long limbs kinda affect her dancing skill.
6)Sihyeon
She is pretty good in dancing but not like the others. I personally think she trained for vocals not dance because her voice sound good af!

I can definitely see the improvement in EU's dancing. When they debut, she has basically no facial expressions. But now, I can see that she's trying to do more and her expressions just improved with each comeback.

Maybe it's a bit too much, because there are other members in the group, but because of being all-rounded, i guess her company is pushing her forward. I do agree with everyone saying that Onda is higher than Yiren technique-wise. However, if you read the title of this video, this is based on their IDOL DANCING and STAGE PRESENCE. I’m Onda biased, but I pretty much agree with this list. Also, Mia should be rated higher in facials.

(This is my opinion, so you can disagree) Aisha can most likely be a lead dancer in Everglow, however since she has long limbs, she can give off the illusion of over dancing or looking stiff. Onda isn’t stiff and she doesn’t over dance. Again, this is my opinion, and I love both Aisha and Onda

tbh mia and onda should be the main dancers. they have slight differences in styles and concepts but their skills are almost equal. skill-wise i think onda is the best and performance-wise mia outsold. i'm not saying e:u isn't main dancer material but we should also recognize onda's dancing. onda is a very good hip-hop dancer yet she's the most fluid dancer in everglow. besides that, she is very versatile. lol don't come to me mia and e:u stans

As a professional Latin dancer I can say this ranking is very accurate. India is an overall better dancer than yiren but considering you’re ranking their idol dancing yiren is definitely a better choice for 3rd place.

Everglow as a group has really good dancers overall. And I feel like Mia has too much lines which causes her to get tired fast while dancing so we don’t get her full capacity while dancing.

I kinda disagree with the facial expressions marks..even though mia is always singing when dancing..but she can change her expression smoothly(is that the right term?) while singing on stage..and she is known for her great facial expressions..so i would like to rank their facial expressions (not overall dance) like this

I believe Chaeyeon is also extremely talented but the difference between her and Mia is that Mia is exceptional in singing, dancing, and rapping while chaeyeon is more than exceptional at dance and only slightly good at singing and rapping. So uh yeah.
curry curren but Chaeyeon is a better rapper then Mia. Chaeyeon has been rapping longer and has better flow while Mia only rapped once
