- The early stages of experimenting and development of electroacoustic music while studying Music Technology in Leeds Beckett Msc a few years ago (2018).
It uses prepared instruments such as guitars piezo/contact microphones and a record player with bits of tape to make it skip. #jamuary2024
Finding new ways to play existing instruments and devices opens up a new world of possibility both sonically , creatively, and puts you out of your comfort zone.
Early forms of electroacoustic music included the musique concrète movement, led by French composer Pierre Schaeffer, and later the German Karlheinz Stockhausen. Musique concrète sought to create music from natural sounds recorded onto a tape and then further manipulated.

Thanks so much. Haven’t experimented like this in a few years but it def reminded me to get back exploring the sonic landscape. Never know what you might find!
@@3xAudio Wish you the best !
nice live looping... layer upon layer of interesting sounds... cheers, Mick 😎
Many thanks Mick! Hopefully can get back in the groove. It’s hard with work and other commitments to be creative but getting back into the swing of things !
Nice workflow and transport of sound. Love the Psychedelic guitar mood!!
Thanks a lot! It’s crazy what atmospheres you can find sometimes when you think outside the box a little bit. Cheers for stopping by!
I appreciate that the layers don't choke each other out, giving space for each sound to be heard in a cohesive rhythm.
Thank you. There was a lot of renditions of this that ended up getting a bit out of control 😂
Love the vibe!
