I was stationed in Afghanistan for a bit as a translator, and the base would offer medical services to the locals.
I recall a conversation with a native who wanted a son, and I was helping to explain to him that he'd have to "sleep" with his wife. He found the idea offensive. As if he could continue to screw goats or boys and just "have-a-son" somehow.
I also recall that using a broken bottle to carve out the clitoris of a young girl was common, because if a woman enjoyed sex, then they were obviously a whore... so making sex unpleasant for the rest of their life was doing them a favor. Hence, female-genital-mutilation.
I can speak from both experience _AND_ history, that a circumcised male will still find sex quite pleasant. But a female who has had their clit obliterated by a savage with a broken bottle.... _not so much._
Furthermore, it is an undisputed fact that a circumcised penis can still produce offspring. So comparing a circumcised penis to an amputated penis, or a shredded clit... that's not a good-faith argument.
Circumcised penis = still works, still enjoys sex.
Mutilated vagina = still works, *does not enjoy sex.*
Amputated penis = *doesn't work, doesn't enjoy sex.*

I was circumcised 30 years ago. I can safely say, I do not regret getting circumcised even though I was literally a new born baby. I have never had a suicidal thought due to my circumcision. Thank you.

I actually really disagree with Charley on the circumcision thing. I think he actually knows he’s incorrect on that one as well, but to admit it would open a whole can of worms, but objectively if he applied the same level of scrutiny and logic to that topic as he does other things, he would come to the conclusion that it is irrelevant in today’s world.

And in fairness the person he was speaking to did make a valid point that if female genital mutilation on religious grounds should be stopped then it should be with males too.
