It's nice though, at the beginning of last December my Indonesian was still super crappy, now I progressed to basic conversation level! Nice man, good luck with German, it's a really cool language. Hey danke für das Feedback! Ist leider ein schwieriges Thema, ich hab längere Gespräche in älteren Videos versucht und man sieht sofort in der Analytik wann die Leute abspringen. Ist leider so das die meisten Leute eher schnell geschnittene Videos sehen wollen. Und nachdem ich versuche den Channel so schnell wie möglich zu wachsen, muss ich mich wohl anpassen. Es kommt natürlich auch immer auf die Gesprächspartner an, wenn die Konversationen spannend sind, dann bietet sich das natürlich mehr an 😉

Cantonese with 6 tones is definitely a nightmare for caucasians. As for Russian, I politely disagree, but it depends on your mother tongue on which language is going to be the hardest for you. As a German, Russian grammar doesn't really scare me that much. Sure there are 6 cases but as long as you study declensions and conjugations it's managable. Once you know how to decipher the alphabet, it's very straightforward to pronounce the language. To me the fact that Chinese is built on homophones, that it's a tonal language and that there are thousands of unique characters to learn makes it a clear winner in terms of difficulty. But then again, it's all subjective
@@Speechbound LOL Aren't so many things in languages! (subjective) I just disagree with the US State Department putting Mandarin in tier 1 and Russian in tier 3 for difficulty. I just don't agree with that.
