Dredging the Sandy Pond Channel to Lake Ontario - an aerial perspective

Today (8/31/18) was a crystal clear day for a new video but the dredging appears to have stopped for the holiday weekend. Taken yesterday from higher up the effort to deepen the Sandy Pond to lake Ontario channel from advancing sand seems daunting. Makes one wonder if Mother Nature will accept the effort or simply nullify it in the future resulting in more dredging. Note the increasing sand bar between Carl Island and the channel that is now no longer under water.
