South Pond and the South Shore of Sandy Pond in the fall. I rejected this video as it was a little jerky and not smooth. But another look at the colors prompted me to post it.

Sent a drone up 400 feet to view the eclipse over Sandy Pond. The video shows the light fading out (with the video accelerated) but I didn't have the battery power to see it come back. The video was taken on October 5, 2023 when we hiked the 2 1/2 mile loop around Moss Lake. The fall colors were spectacular as noted in the video. These two videos were taken to capture photographs of the Renshaw Bay (Brennans Bay) as requested by many bay residents. The video starts on the east shore of South Sandy Pond and our drone heads west toward Lake Ontario highlighting the north shore. The drone proceeds towards Eddie's Cove and the south shore of Sandy Pond. On the way back to South Pond we take a brief look back at the area we covered. The British landed here on May 29, 1813 to assemble for their main attack on Sackets Harbor which was the principal ship building facility and main base for the American naval squadron on the LaKE Ontario at that time. Flew to the beach and work was still in progress early on Thursday, April 13th. Later in the day went back a second time and the crane & trucks were gone. Spotted them heading toward Sandy Island Beach and it appeared there may have been equipment issues. Flew one last time Friday morning April 14th to inspect the channel. The crane and trucks were no where in sight.
