  • You have to upgrade to the lipo battery - longer drive time and more power.
    The stock battery only lasts around 15 mins of continuous fast driving.

    Could you please tell me does the stock motor and esc work well with a lipo as oppsed to the junk nimh battery that cane with it?

      YES! The stock battery is trash. You'll like it 2 cell lipo battery. I believe we included the Traxxas part number in the intro video that we did

      Yes, we used the Traxxas Lipo battery. The stock battery does not last very long at all

      @@funwithrcdudes5928 A good battery is a OVONIC AIR from Amazon 2200 mHa 35c 7.4 volt 16.28 WH. $22 for two. Be careful if you do not have a esc for a lipo battery , do not let it go completely flat. I have run this battery to .05% with a run time of 20 minutes. I have this car and it is great. I would recommend putting weight in the other battery compartment to balance the car. You can use a Y connector to run two batteries. Thank for the video a very fun car.

      I love the rocket. It just stopped turning so it's completely useless. I retro fitted the rockets shell on my Traxxas slash
