@@funwithrcdudes5928 i tried putting washers between the body and the body post to raise the body slightly that doesn’t help and even played around with adjusting the shocks to shorten the travel so when I land from a jump the body doesn’t slam I doubt raising ride height would I don’t want to trim the body either might ruin the profile i want to keep that rally look and not make it look like a lifted ford focus lol

YES! The stock battery is trash. You'll like it 2 cell lipo battery. I believe we included the Traxxas part number in the intro video that we did

I stand by my assessment. 1) the bag is poorly made and consist of low quality material for the price they charge; 2) I have had stock shocks break from doing a low ramp jump in the street, so yes, if a customer has not upgraded to aluminum/heavy duty shocks, I would not want the stock shocks to be compressed down by the bungee cords. I actually threw our proline bag in the trash. Traxxas makes a high quality duffle bag which allows an RC to rest flat in the bag with no straps ... plus it has room for the controller, tool kit, extra batteries etc. You're entitled to your opinion but if I'm going to spend money, I want quality and a good design. I have no tries to any vendor so I feel free to be honest with my assessments.

What kind of car and what kind of battery?

It's difficult to say what the problem could be. If the motor turns on but the controller is not functioning, it could be that the controller is not synced to the car. We have a video on this. If the battery itself is not charging, I'd call the company's support number. There are a number of things that could be causing the problem.

Great question!! NO you can't use the stock NiMH charger on a LIPO battery. Here's the official statement by Traxxas: "NEVER charge a LiPo battery using a NiMH charger (or NiMH charging mode on a combination NiMH/LiPo battery charger). LiPo batteries can be damaged by over-discharging, which is why the electronic speed control on all Traxxas models has built-in Low-Voltage Detection to alert you when LiPo batteries have reached their minimum voltage (discharge) threshold. LiPo batteries should be stored partially charged, and require a LiPo-specific charger."

Shouldve made it so the bungee cord goes over the wheels and holds it down by the control arms. 4 bungee loops that u put over and behind each wheel.

Yeah, that's way too much battery for the 1/16 scale.

I love the rocket. It just stopped turning so it's completely useless. I retro fitted the rockets shell on my Traxxas slash

How did it handle?

@@funwithrcdudes5928 On 4s geared up a bit it handled great although i was using am aftermarket radio with a gyro in the receiver like the Traxxas TSM. My car also has a metal gear servo i bought off Amazon since again i bought my car as a roller and stock Traxxas servos aren't that great to begin with.

I have ran this a few times and have some videos on you tube running at 89 and 92. The only thing is those tire balloon and rub. But i bought foam tires the i am going to speed run with them. Yeah I would definitely test that out. Get used to it and get a feel for it. Good video.

@@funwithrcdudes5928 No prob i'm currently beginning to prep for a huge rebuild on my XO-1 this spring and hope to make videos documenting the process during the rebuild. Mine's currently a little rough from a couple of crashes and mostly bashing.

Yes, we used the Traxxas Lipo battery. The stock battery does not last very long at all

@@funwithrcdudes5928 A good battery is a OVONIC AIR from Amazon 2200 mHa 35c 7.4 volt 16.28 WH. $22 for two. Be careful if you do not have a esc for a lipo battery , do not let it go completely flat. I have run this battery to .05% with a run time of 20 minutes. I have this car and it is great. I would recommend putting weight in the other battery compartment to balance the car. You can use a Y connector to run two batteries. Thank for the video a very fun car.
