As a long, long time subscriber, as much as you say you want to revamp, 2.0 your channel, I don't feel that's the vibe you put off. And that's okay! You two have a hugely successful business outside of youtube and I think that's awesome. RUclips isn't forever and I think youtube should be more of what you enjoy creating versus the numbers/algorithms. So if it brings you joy producing a certain video, who cares about the numbers? You're doing it for yourself and I feel viewers appreciate that genuineness.
BUT did the pizza get delivered?? I mean, I feel like I'm left hanging LMFAO Might I make a suggestion: I've watched you guys for awhile and I found your boutique because of your videos. I've kept shopping because it is stylish and affordable. Tracey has mentioned in more than one video her passion is starting to move towards fashion more. And honestly, the RUclips channels I've seen on fashion are geared more towards the higher end stuff. Most of us can not afford that! Ya'll love Target and its a place most people can afford to shop. So why not a series or change over to putting outfits together. I know I get bored with my closet from time to time and reach out to videos, Instagram and good old google search just for inspiration. You could add in some of your M&M stuff too. I mean you can explain WHY you chose what you did to put together. Just food for thought! I mean consider how many dang times people ask you where your shirt/outfit is from.
I shared this quote with my husband earlier this week, “Comparison is the thief of joy.” Do what you love and share what you’re passionate about; let the rest fall into place as far as viewers, likes, comments. You both are constantly multitasking your time and energy into so many different ideas and projects. Maybe narrow your scope so you aren’t spreading yourselves too thin and expand once those projects are running smoothly. Work hard, stay focused, and the rest will transcend 💛

This is in all honesty meant as constructive feedback and not criticism. Hopefully you find it helpful. I’m a long time subscriber and have been religiously watching for a long time. I personally miss the channel from 2-3 years ago where it was a mix of makeup, beauty, hauls, funny diy’s and unboxings and it was consistent uploads twice a week. It’s felt very repetitive lately, same battle of the boxes every few weeks and long videos with talking or Q and A’s where people literally ask the same questions and where it feels you’re constantly trying to justify why you’re not uploading. The channel is not doing well because it hasn’t been your priority and thats ok. I think if you want to say it’s time for 2.0 then we’re all behind you and will continue to support you, but in my opinion the most important thing is consistency of upload times and variety of content. Again, as a long time supporter, I hope this helps.

Ideas for videos:
-start doing “series” (like a series on Madison and Mallory look books--outfit ideas with strictly music and you showing the outfits with subtitles-less talking; a series with a snack and chat--where you eat and chat podcast style; a series where you do beauty challenges/questions) *variety so you reach the masses and organizes your channel
-keep the beauty boxes, but change how you present them (i.e. one goes through the products, the other guesses which box it came from; or spin a wheel or something to choose a product from one of the boxes that you have to wear all week--a beauty box challenge)
-time lapse you painting your nails--every channel needs a calming corner lol
-diy something every now and then (we choose who diy’d it better)
-something weird is good--like choose an ingredient to use in a simple snack/lunch dish and have your hubbies try it--really, any video where there’s a “hubby reaction” is funny
-also, filming your sit-downs with one minor change to the background or something added in view in the corner for every-so videos will keep it fresh
-for vlogs, create a theme or style--maybe with pop-ups, speech bubbles, or some visual that lets viewers know “that’s a Tee and Ess” video

I've been watching y'all for a couple years now and I don't know that I've ever left a comment but felt the need to let you know that even though you're feeling defeated right now that you do have people watching and rooting for you. My husband watches all of your videos with me and y'all have made us laugh at some low points in our lives. I really appreciate that you're down to Earth and don't mind being real. I'm not a RUclipsr so I don't have any constructive advice but just wanted to let you know that your channel does matter to some of us. I hope things get better soon.
I think the most appealing part of the channel is the down to earth quality. I'd really like if you did more "girl chat" types of videos. For example, story time get-ready-with-me. I think also discussions/ stories of life lessons, growing up, relationships, social expectations, etc.

I love watching you ladies, but I will say it’s hard to keep up without a regular upload schedule. I look at RUclips videos like kind of a “series” or “episodes” I’m following along with. Even if it’s only one regular day a week I can count on an upload, it’s something I can plan on being there. I will still watch no matter if it stays random or scheduled, and I know it’s so hard to keep to a schedule too so I’m just happy to see more of you both either way.
Perfectly said.... I tune into RUclips for my daily dose of the channels I subscribe to. Even the ones that only post a few days a week, they CONSISTENTLY post those few days; you can count on them. It’s when the videos are so few and far between, and basically the same content over and over, that it becomes boring and I’m more likely to unsubscribe.

You should make videos about running a store. Lots of people are starting internet based businesses and turn to RUclips for advice. Videos with advice and with a strong title like “Instagram photo tips from girl bosses.” Or “how we started a business.” I think you could use a lot of the same stuff you use in vlogs, but title them like the content you have on your main channel. So they seem more like scheduled, planned content on specific subjects, and less like follow me around vlogs. I love both, but I think “shop with me” will always be less popular than “creating Instagram-worthy outfits on a budget.” I would love to see what going to market is really like, and it would be cool if you filmed more actually picking out clothes, with a title more like “market takeover: girls on the loose.” I think people expect you tube videos to be like mini TV shows and vlogs are more of what you see in Instagram stories or snap chats.
Great advice. Yes I agree, title videos in order to grasp more viewers that are searching to be strong female bosses of small businesses and so on.

I love your guys vlogmas! I look forward to it everyday. Since you guys do your channels together you should use that to your advantage. Do challenges with each other. Videos where you take control of each others lives for the day or where you go and pick outfits out for each other that you would never wear. Pick a hair color out for each other and dye each others hair a crazy color (one that’s temporary). I don’t know if any of these ideas are helpful.

I'm a small and growing account on ig right now and something that helps and has helped me so very much is to do because it's something you enjoy. I swear it does not matter when you post , what kind of pic it is if your being silly or serious, there will always be an audience and it will always be growing especially when your just having fun and flowing. I know that sounds cheesy or too good to be true, but I have found it to be 1000% the answer to be being able to not only enjoy what I do but provide my best work because I'm not so hung up on judging and micro and overthinking every move I make. I just release and let universe take the wheel and do from my heart and soul as best I can every day and that's always enough just showing up is always enough too. Were humans and were not always on our "game" 24/7 and something like sharing our daily lives needs to come with being just ourselves doing what we love sharing our struggles and truipmhs and just spreading love and laughter too! I love you too i love your vlogs keep going and try simply flowing!

Some video ideas that I’d enjoy
1. M&M “life of an order” - what happens from when a customer orders up until it’s shipped... like show us what you see on your end, finding the order, packing it etc. and maybe give us a better idea of the load of packages y’all go through daily/weekly
2. A lookbook video of outfits made up of M&M and other brands and explanations of why they go together
3. Maybe a 10 items 30 outfits video with M&M clothing
4. Trying Christmas limited edition flavors of foods (I miss these videos)
5. Vlog of sitting in on M&M strategy meetings
6. Dedicated eyeshadow palette videos
7. Christmas wishlist

my biggest "failure" I guess was being kicked out of nursing school after 4 years and being told i have to start completely over and i started over but at a different nursing school and now im a nurse in a level 2 trauma center

I've only been subscribed to both of your channels for about a year now, but I genuinely love the relationship you two have together and the work ethic you both have. You both inspire me to keep working hard in my own life. I have always been the perfectionist type as well, since as long as I can remember. I was the student who was heart broken by a B, and in all honestly still am that person. It sucks when we cannot reach the personal goals we set for ourselves and no matter what others say our opinions of our "failures" will always be that they are failures. I love your guys videos and how hard you work to do what you do. It seems like you both are doing things you love and want to do and that is what I want for myself. So I know saying that your numbers don't matter is silly, because they do matter, to you both. But I think you both handle the things thrown at you so well and I'm truly enjoying your vlogmas. 2 Days late but I'm super intrigued into the operation of the boutique. I'd love to see videos on styling pieces from the boutique. Things I think that I would really like seeing from you: I love watching your Target shopping videos and wouldn't mind if this translated into other shopping videos. I like seeing stuff about the boutique as I feel like it brings out a creative side that you cant really see from reviewing makeup. I would love to see more fashion styling stuff, cause I'm not that confident or great at building a style and since your boutique owners I feel like you'd be a natural to do that sort of thing. I hope you see this comment and if you do know that we all fail at something, but that's how you get to pick up and learn from mistakes or missed efforts. Don't let the algorithms get to you, you can't control RUclips, so just worry about what you can control.

I've watched your videos religiously for a few years now. You're the channel I always watch first. The reason I think many of us watch is because of your adorable chemistry, your goofiness, your big hearts, your hard work. I'd watch regardless the content, tbh. RUclips is flooded with beauty right now and the algorithm is constantly changing. Just remember that every channel is struggling to figure that out. They all talk about how frustrating it is to lose numbers. There's just so so many channels now that compete. There's only so many hours a day someone can watch. You built this community before it was cool and have many many loyal-til-death followers. We love you and aren't going anywhere. 😘

This is the struggle of many people and with women in particular, we are trying to do so many thing's and feel like we if we do great in our career we are doing less great at being a mom or vice versa. I know you do not have kids, but let's say RUclips is now your kid and Madison and Mallory is your career. It is always hard to be great at both all the time and you just cannot be so hard on yourself about it. RUclips probably won't last forever, because viewers grow and change and many may not even have time to watch anymore. Just do the best you can and find other ways to advertise Madison and Mallory besides RUclips, hopefully you are already doing that. Best of luck to you in all things.

I have a wide variety of videos that I watch on RUclips (teacher vloggers, family vloggers, fashion, makeup, etc) however, I know that I always loves the day in the life, etc. times of videos. So, doing a video that’s like a “Day in the life of a boutique owner” and things like that would be really interesting!
Chocolate of ANY kind but with all the studies saying dark has special health magic, I feel like I'm eating healthy when snacking on dark chocolate. 🤣

I wish youtube could be something it was some years ago - creators can do what makes them happy. They can do what they love and not have anxiety about if it is going to do well or not :( Please don’t stress yourselves too much. There are always people who will not love what you do. I am a producer for TV and I completely understand where you are at. TV ratings drive EVERYTHING! Here’s what I do.....I ask myself “why” am I doing this? For me, I am a christian so everything I do, I do it for God. So that’s my advice, remember your “why” and hold onto it. Cut yourself some slack too. You’re so young, I’m 45 😀, I’m still young too. Life is short.

honestly i have watched for years and i love both of you and you both work so hard and do amazing things. RUclips just needs to get things together. If i subscribed obvious i want to see the content, its as simple as that.

It’s always confusing to me when creators say that RUclips doesn’t recommend content if you don’t post regularly, because in my experience as a viewer that’s not true. For example, I had not watched Zoella’s vlog channel since last vlogmas which I watched all of last year. On Vlogmas Day 1 this year, it popped up in my recommendations. Your videos are ALWAYS recommended to me, despite the lengthy breaks you take on both channels. I appreciate the algorithms as a viewer, because I have been a viewer for 10+ years, I have subscribed to a lot of channels that I don’t watch anymore. Somehow, RUclips has figured out which of them I do want to watch based on what I click on, and for me, as a viewer, it’s accurate.

People go thru hills & valleys in life, in work, in relationships, etc. Sometimes people try to make u feel like you’ve failed or make u fear and that is just all evil. Be a light and be the great people u two are :) P.S. I love Hungry Howie’s

Hey guuuuuuys!!! (Sorry had to! Lol) so I’m a fellow RUclipsr. I’m actually right down the road from you guys in Chilton County. Anyway....I find the consistency is key, however, you have to set yourself up for success. For me that has been 3 videos a week. But, I can see where running a boutique and having your family come first would mean that three videos a week is too much. As a viewer of your channel, I would love to know your upload schedule. Even if it is only 1 video a week, or 1 a month. That way I could also be consistent in my viewing of the videos. We have a group of smaller RUclips channels that talk with each other about these things and one of the things we says is, it’s kinda like a tv show. If I see a show I love and want to watch again but I don’t know when or where it will air the next time I tend not to watch it. Although, you can’t use one or two uploads as your measurement. You’ll probably need to look at it in a quarter of the year. All that said, I’m a tiny channel compared to you guys but I love you and your content and I hope you will find your footing and grow your channel to millions and millions! My idea: Based on the content of this post, put out a 3 part series of parody posts. One would be you all reviewing toys, the next would be doing pranks, and the last would be playing video games since these are the top three types of the most popular RUclips videos. Oh, and dark chocolate for the win.
I think the big question is do you want to rededicate to RUclips? Will it make YOU happy or do you think it’s something that you’re supposed to do? At the end of the day, you’ve got to take care of you. If the politics are too much, is it worth it? If M+M is taking more of your time, is that where you truly want your passion? I completely understand though, I’m right there in my professional goals but again, it’s what will be good for you!
I would LOVE to see a video where you do some styling. For example, putting together a look for a work holiday party, or a date night. I feel like I'm awful at combining hair, makeup, clothes, and accessories to make a cohesive look. It's overwhelming to me, and I never know what to pair with what. Just an idea. I get comments ALL the time about looking too young. Especially having two kids and being married and established. I’ll be 29 next week and someone had that balls to tell me that “I’m not old enough to have two kids”. 🙃 It’s bittersweet but mostly frustrating being looked at like a kid all the time.

I can completely relate to always wanting to succeed. I have never had a b and I almost got one in biology this semester in college and it was going to be the end of the world for me lol. Thankfully I pulled out a 90%! I personally think Madison and Mallory is super interesting and I don’t think anyone would be mad at content on EG about the store. Maybe a series about how it started, a day running the store, and then including market too. Obviously us from the vlog channel would know some of that stuff already but I wouldn’t mind to see more in depth content about it. The algorithm is the most ridiculous thing to hit RUclips since it’s completely changed the way I watch. I remember wayyyyy back in the day all of my subscriptions had an equal playing field but now I’ll remember someone I haven’t seen on my recommended in a while and I’ll go look and have missed multiple videos from. If I didn’t have EG notifs on and saw the vlog I would’ve missed the target shop with me video. I think it’s something you just have to really sit back and make content that makes you guys happy and try to not focus on the numbers. Even if you do sponsorships to make that coin I’m not gonna care and your true supporters won’t either. We all have to have jobs to pay our bills and this just happens to be your guys’ jobs. After basically growing up watching you guys it sucks to see you both so defeated but I’ve seen you all make it through tough times before and I know you’ll get past this. Praying for you guys and excitedly waiting for any content you put out 💜

I totally get what y’all are saying. I’ve been wanting to start filming more for my channel so that I can share my unboxings and other things with people that also enjoy them. There aren’t many people in my life that enjoy makeup, Disney, fashion, and my other interests so I want to share them with people who do. I just struggle to find the time and motivation to sit down and film, edit, and upload.
