You can sub syrup. But macchiatos are made with vanilla syrup not carmel. The only thing that is Carmel is the drizzle on top.

Caramel macchiato is a pump of vanilla not caramel. It's only caramel bc of the caramel drizzle on top :)

My Starbucks Christmas budget drink is an iced coffee with chestnut praline syrup. It reminds me of captain crunch. But they have never charged for the syrup.

I wore my shirt inside-out to work. On a day when I was in front of the entire county commission. On the news.
And no one said anything until my sister pointed it out that night at the football game.
Biggest fail: I work in a physicians office and years ago staff wore lab coats; one morning I pulled mine from the dryer and headed to work. Halfway through the day one of the nurses says to me, Vicki turn around, you have something on you. Ohhhh it’s just a BRA!! 🙀 it must’ve gotten hooked onto the belt of the lab coat in the dryer, and I was walking around all morning with a bra tail!

Caramel macchiato cheap alternative would be an Americano w/ vanilla syrup, what ever milk you prefer & caramel drizzle. Or even cheaper you can get a iced coffee the same way it just won't have the espresso taste, but will have more caffeine! That's my method of choice!

Fun Starbucks fact: caramel macchiatos actually have vanilla syrup with caramel sauce. Lattes are made with with espresso and milk. Americano is made with espresso and water. Your americano with cream is espresso water and a splash of cream.

The other day I went into work as a pharmacy technician. I was so out of it I had my pants on inside out. Also corporate was at the store for a surprise visit. I got to work at 8:30 didn’t find out about my pants till my lunch at 1 pm!!! Wonder if the corporate people are like can we trust her to get people the right meds if she can’t even dress herself! Way to impress Angela lol!
I wish I could find a system for ordering. I've been sick this week and the past 2 days I've fallen asleep with my iPad trying to order inventory and haven't actually ordered any stock 😒

My mother is the kind of person to ALWAYS always put her bangs up in curlers (ala the 80s). She had surgery years ago and she was so nervous, she didn’t even realize she left the house with her curlers still in her bangs. And my dad took her to the hospital and was just as nervous that he didn’t even notice either. It wasn’t until my parents were at the hospital checking in that my mom saw her reflection in a mirror and realized she still had her curlers in. We still all laugh about this story all the time.
One time I left the house with a pair of underwear static clinged to the inside of my pants leg and didnt realize it for a long time

I work at Starbucks and the reward automatically takes off the most expensive item on the menu! So when people have rewards they get like crazy $8 dollar drinks with a bunch of extra shots and syrups.

I order the same drink every time I go to Starbucks and the price is never the same from day to day. It varies around 20 cents give or take.

I find it funny that I’ve reached the point in my life where when I realize my shirt was inside out all day or my buttons were done up crooked or my fly was open I now just shrug and go whatever...a few years ago i would have died of embarrassment! Something crazy, wow lol I actually have left the house with two pair of different sandals long story short I wasnt sure which ones would match my outfit, my dad honked like crazy telling me to hurry so we could leave I got distracted walked out and when I got to school and left the car I look down and I had two different sandals on, I called my bf at the time told him to pick me up so I could go home and get matching shoes and this was in 2008 back in my senior year🤦♀️🤦♀️

I moved to a city about 100 miles from my hometown and would go home on my day off regularly. I stopped to change before I left and wound up putting on one brown boot and one black boot. They also were different heel heights. I have no idea how I managed that but had to buy new shoes. 🤦🏻♀️

I prefer Male o meal cereals over say Kellogg's or Quaker the bagged cereal is usually better imo and you get more for your money. more bang for your buck. like I prefer marshmallow mateys over lucky charms. any day.

Just curious, but when you order merchandise, how do you check to see if its sweat-shop and/or child labor free? I sew and have some knowledge and experience with the issues there and was wondering.
Dont take offense at it, I know its complex issue too and while it be great to not have Any such horrors, in some countries its preferred to say trafficking so its not a simple issue. But I ask because I was curious as to what safeguards are out there now etc. i guess to it differs depending on where one purchases and type of textiles etc. looks like you carry a lot of knits. There are some good textile helps out there for small businesses who want to lean more towards fairer trade and environmental friendly materials etc (eg water used for cottons). Anyways just wanted to ask, might be good topic to look into and expand upon. 🤗
