wow ive seen a lot of sweater nail tutorials and this one is the best one ive seen so far. the brush tip makes a huge difference in how the sweater look comes out. i will definitely be trying this exact design out.
I’m trying to learn so I can do my nails. It’s a real struggle to find someone that really takes to time to show and tell us each step. Thank you so much!
Thank You! The fall season is passing and i was looking for new designs for the upcoming season. This is absolutely perfect! Your step by step instructions really help someone just starting out with nail art, like me. 🙂
Tysm for sharing this technique! I’m severely allergic to the purple monomer and my reg nail tech has been lying to me swearing we had to use it to achieve sweater nails! Yay! I’ll just do them myself!
Heyy love! Great job This was super fun and easy to recreate!! Thanks for sharing your work with Us Newbie/beginner Nail Techies 💞💅🏾 I like, I commented and Im Subscribed!! 😊 God Bless!!
I loveee this. I'm now starting to use apres gel x and was looking for amazing designs for gel x and I found you. You might wanna include gel x in your vid title for some of us who are looking for gel x ideas. #loveandlight
Hey, this looks really cute! I do have a question, I didn’t saw you seal the whole nail at the end with a topcoat. Is this not necessary? Also, if I make this design with a pink nailpolish, does my acryl powder also have to be pink, or just clear?
My clear acrylic has been having issues coming off of the nail but I haven’t done anything wrong in the process. When I put my flash on my phone on the nails it looks terrible. Do I have bad acrylic or the matte coat isn’t dried proper? What could I change?
I made some and they came out so cute! But they get really dirty. Especially the white ones they attract all the lint. Should I just put a clear top coat.
Can i wear these in warer or do i have to be super careful when I wear tyem. Someone told me that when using acrylic powder they are not suppose tobe worn in water or they will be dnaged. Anytips
I pretty much watched this out of curiosity. I've never heard of a sweater design on nails before. And I'm glad you shared your process. I have a couple of questions. I saw a woman with these beautiful pink nails. She said it's Tammy Taylor p3. Is it possible instead of having that applied directly onto my nails that i can put it on press on nails and remove them when I want a different color? Also have you ever created nails with the northern star, snowflakes, a lavender and pink plaid design, the Superman logo and/or Winnie the Pooh? I'd like to learn how to do all of those as well. And for everyone except the plaid design I wasn't sure if you'd need to create a decal or if you can freehand the design. I'd really like your input if you don't mind.
@@SadlerUpNails it's an acrylic nail powder. But it's in a beautiful medium pink shade. And since Christmas is almost here I thought of going to Amazon and getting little miniature snowflakes to put on my nails. But the couple of times I've done that in the past I wasn't completely satisfied with it.
So pretty! How do you get such lovely height on your designs? My gel flattens out and I can barely see it after I apply the powder. Darn it. I'd love to get mine to this level of expertise. Tips, anyone?
I paint the design pretty thick. You could pour the acrylic instead of dipping the nail. Or if your polish is thin, do two layers of the design and dip it in the acrylic on the second layer.
I have done the sweater thing several times several ways and every time I can not get the design to last more then a couple days before it just basically rubs right off leaving just a blank nail. If you top coat over it it loses its impact and doesn’t look as nice. Any tips on getting it to stay on the nail?
@@PomchiPie I just tried it. built up my pattern with builder gel and then actually accentuated it with white. So I have a blue base, ridged (many layers) sweater pattern, and then white to accent it. (looks so sweet and almost nordic) then matte top coat. 😊
@@PomchiPie I think any gel paint that you layer will work for sure. just each time you make a small line, cure for 15 sec to make sure it doesn't run on you or flatten if that makes snese. x

I cut most of my brushes!
@@SadlerUpNails can you do a galaxy nail design or marble nail design using either gel or dip powder?? i am a fan of those!

Will be definitely be doing this once Halloween is over, thank-you for sharing this, can you do this with different colors
Yes! Any colour would work!
@@SadlerUpNails okay awesome, thank-you
Thank you so much for sharing your technique❤️ I want to know after that do we put top cut?

Super clear. Thank you for the tutorial.
Thank you!!!
Love!
Can I ask, do you put a top coat on top once you’ve completed the look? If so would it be matte or shiny? Thank-you x
I’m wondering the same thing
Thanks you so much
thank you!!! this is amazing!!

Clear acrylic works with all colours. You seal the nail with matte top coat then do your sweater design. You don’t top coat the design after.
Awesome job!! And thank you for the tutorial!! I have question..does it matter if you use dip powder or acrylic powder??
Dip is acrylic powder so no it does not matter!
@@SadlerUpNails was there a base coat before the white. Mine keeps getting soggy and wrinkled when cured with Matt top coat😫😫😫😫
@@SadlerUpNails i actually used base coat first and it works... she didn't state that. Ma babd
Wonder if you can use dip powder as I don't have acrylic?
great easy tutorial thankyou
Hi can I use any color of acrylic or does it have to be clear?
Love it.... thank you 😊
Wonderful - TSMFS 💗💗💗 Have you tried Nailchemy’s Velvet Matt Top Coat??It is very decadent - you will love it!!! I do ☺️
Love it 🥰🥰🥰
Can you please tell what is the color of acrylics powder? White or clear?
I have a question. Can you actually do this on top of acrylic dip powder or do you just use that polish on the nail tip?
My clear acrylic has been having issues coming off of the nail but I haven’t done anything wrong in the process. When I put my flash on my phone on the nails it looks terrible. Do I have bad acrylic or the matte coat isn’t dried proper? What could I change?
Thanks for sharing🥰🥰😍😍
After you cure the design with the acrylic powder in it, are you finishing with a top coat at all?
No. You want the textured look so don’t top coat it.
Do you not put a top coat on once it’s finished? Just wanna check I do it right!x
No top coat after you sprinkle and cure the acrylic powder.
Thank you for the tutorial!
I want to try it. I would like if you can tell me where to buy the skinny brush for this manicure. 😊
It’s just a striping brush that I cut to make even thinner.
Hey this is my first time doing my nails in 6 years. What do we wipe off the matt top coat with?
I made some and they came out so cute! But they get really dirty. Especially the white ones they attract all the lint. Should I just put a clear top coat.
I agree, they do get dirty. I think top coating them will lose the effect.
How do you clean your brushes
Can i wear these in warer or do i have to be super careful when I wear tyem. Someone told me that when using acrylic powder they are not suppose tobe worn in water or they will be dnaged. Anytips
They don’t get damaged in water!
Does anyone know if we top coat after the clear acrylic? Or once cured with the acrylic that’s it?
Do not top coat the acrylic!
Hi! Does anybody know if this can be done with regular polish and the acrylic powder?? Thanks!

It’s might me the quality of gel polish you’re using as I’ve never had mine peel of flake off.
I did this and the white gets stainded with no top coat so i put top coat and it takes away the raised effect ? Only white ? What do i do ?
Awesome thank you 😊
Can you do a topcoat over this?
Do not top coat after the acrylic.
🔥🔥
Hi . I have gel allergies . In which other way can I do this?
Madam Glam is a vegan/hypoallergenic as they don’t have HEMA in them. Hopefully you aren’t allergic to their gels.
nice
what ratio do you use with powder and gel polish?
Can you use dip powder or does it have to be Acrylic
Dip powder is acrylic so yes!
No top coat when you're done?
No, you don’t top coat the acrylic after you cure.
I loves these but so hard to see because of the white! I was straining my eyes hard!
Se ve fácil en la uña postiza pero imaginen ese trabajo en el pie de una persona en vivo y en directo 😱😭😂
Can this be done with dip powder as well??
Dip powder is acrylic so as long as it is clear.
@@SadlerUpNails Thanks 🙏
Do u top coat this???
Once you cured the acrylic powder to the gel, you are finished.
U wipe off with alcohol?
You can, it doesn’t affect it, just be careful as it’s a textured finish and lint can get stuck.
Very pretty, its hard to see bc its white
❤️💚💜💙💙
Why would you go white on white?
Cant no one see it
Can’t no one see it? I can see it!
Wish I could do this without the acrylic
Just do it with gel by painting the design on. youd still get the ridges but not the fluffiness.
