Try no punta sa mga thrift shop para sa damit at gamit sa bahay. Meron din mga free second hand shop para sa mga furnitures sana makita nyo para maka free kau ibang gamit. ❤

in Canada and US is more expensive because apartment only with 1bed 1bath costs 1,500.00$ 2bed 1bath is 2,000.$ but if it is a house you won't believe its 3,000 to 4,000. same in Canada.
Plus electric, car payment and insurance and food + internet and cable TV +cellphone + gas .
I guess you choose the right country to stay .UK still the best plus they have good health care services ..

It's a case to case basis. I am a nurse in a nursing home here in Birmingham. I live solo here in UK. My partner and daughter stays in Cavite. My gross salary per month usually ranged between 4 thousand and 5 thousand pounds. My net salary usually ranged between 3 thousand and 4 thousand pounds. My rent in a shared house is 400 pounds per month which includes water, electricity, gas, Wi-Fi and council tax. My food expense per month is usually 100 pounds. My mobile data is 25 pounds per month. My Netflix is 17.99 pounds per month. I don't need TV and car here in UK. I don't spend on transport because our carehome is just walking distance. I can save more than 3 thousand pounds in a month. That is still more than 200 thousand pesos per month. It will be expensive if you bring your whole family and rent the whole house. House share is cheaper.

Mabilis ako makapag ipon ng milyon in pesos dito sa UK dahil malaki ang income ko at mababa lang ang expenses. I always use the formula income - savings = expenses. My target saving per month 200 thousand pesos which is realistic. I spend mostly on 4 things: rent (400 pounds), food (100 pounds), mobile data (25 pounds) and Netflix (17.99 pounds). That is just 543 pounds in total per month. My average net salary is 3,600 pounds per month so I can save more or less 3,000 pounds per month times 70 pesos = more or less 210,000 pesos per month. Kung dadalhin ko ang family ko dito sa UK tataas ang expenses ko dahil magrerent ako ng buong bahay na aabot ng more or less 800 pounds per month. So better dalawa kayo mag earn dito sa UK. Ayaw ko din bumili ng bahay dito sa UK dahil hindi ako magstay dito pag nagretire ako. Papatayo ako ng apartment units sa pinas at iba pang negosyo. I will receive 2 pensions when I retire. One from Philippine government and the other from UK government. Mas masaya magstay sa pinas dahil marami kang kakilala at makakausap doon. I'm just here in UK to work and save big

Miss Emily look into apprenticeship. Para syang on the job training. Paid employment for over 16s, combining work and study in a job allowing you to develop your workforce and business. Me mga apprenticeship na regular pay yung sahod nila hindi pang minor.
I am so sorry but you don't need TV license here in Uk if it's just for the news. You can just have bbc news app which is free of charge, you would not need tv license for streaming etc. With regards to his Uni at least you did not pay for his study prior to his university so good for you.

May Ilan Pilipino po akong nakita noon sa may via delarosa pero sa dami ng tao, di masyado nkausap. Sponsored trip ng US embassy sa Tel a viv for a 3 day tour of Jerusalem and nearby cities. We enjoyed our trip to Israel.

I think it's a case to case basis lang siguro. Totoo yan pag kasama ang family members sa abroad is quite expensive talaga. Tyagaan lang. I am here in Europe malayo sa family. Malungkot pero tyagaan lang. I am a single mother and have only son. He grow up in Philippines at sa awa ng Diyos safe naman sa Davao. Mababait ang mga friends ng anak ko. Kahit pino push ko siyang sumama sa akin diko sya mapipilit talaga. He is managing our business in Davao. I have 3 Condos for rent, House and lot for rent, 3 lots for rent near beaches. Nakapag survive dito.sa Europe dahil my employer paid my tax contribution, free food and bills included. Every year ang anak ko pumupunta dito at minsan umuuwi ako.sa Pinas it depends on my availability. Wala pa akong loan dito. Ang kapatid ko naman dito kasama nya whole family members at dito nakapag tapos wala silang na invest sa Pinas dahil magastus talaga dito. Ang positive points are maganda ang mga works ng anak nila dito. All are graduated from Private Universities. I salute to all parents who brought their whole family members here in abroad. God is fair!

Hello po, I’m studying in uk. He can apply for student loan (student finance search niyo po ) after his 2 or 3 years BTEC college siguro po eligible naman na siya kasi pag 3 years na siya dito eligible na po siya. And nag apply po ba kayo ng bursary sa school niya? May matatanggap po siyang pera parang allowance po niya.
Ganyan talaga ang buhay pag ka sweldo alam mo na kung saan pupunta .. Dito sa US double job talaga maganda sa katawan mo ang trabaho parang exorcise lang yan para hindi ka tumaba..

Yes life is tough nowadays Ms Emily and I sympathise. However your son ought to be provided with a grant if or when he goes to uni. Yes the grant is actually a loan but it is paid back later and, if your son does not earn a lot of money (you need to check the minimum salary level), the loan need not be paid back (until such time as your son's salary level increases).

Ms. Emily, dito sa US unlimited ang internet and Wi-Fi access. Wla rin tax sa tv. At wala rin state tax (Florida) dito. At endless summer, parang pinas weather wise. Walang snow at sa winter hindi malamig parang Baguio weather. Mas maalwan ang buhay dito, may bahay at dalawang kotse. Nka Ilan beses kami namasyal as tourist diyan sa Europe, UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Greece, etc. (In UK, we visited Stonehenge, London, Cambridge, Oxford, Shakespeare birthplace and many more cities we’ve seen the way to Scotland (Edinbrug, etc)). We even rode the ferry to Ireland (Dublin- St. Trinity: Book of knowledge and Guinness Beer) spent 3 days there (Blarney Castle - Kissing the Blarney Stone!) and many more touristy place.
