Eurofighter actually got a huge buff from the latest update. It might have worse acceleration now, but the turn rate got MASSIVELY increased. From losing to a Mirage 2000 in a dogfight, to being on par if not better then the J-10. W change from gaijin
I just want Meteors and ASRAAMS. As long as it's speed, acceleration and manoeuvrability is competitive... As Rating battles mean nothing when you have 10 topline air to air missiles lol. EDIT: I know they would be OP... i am just saying i want them... being the RAF had them when the EF released in UK (RAF EF NEVER had Sidewinders as they did not exist in Britain when the Typhoon came out).

you can turn off the MAW in Options > Air Battle Settings > Activate counter measures on spawn. you still get the warning but it turns off the automatic dispenser
The engine sound changing when you pitch was added a long time ago, like 2018 or so maybe. If you can hold your plane at 0 AoA, it will have no noise change, and it will seem quieter, like how it worked before that was added.
Anyone knows if radars on both Rafale and Typhoon are working correctly? Last time i logged onto dev server they both kinda sucked ass, i'm wondering if that's how they're supposed to work or if Gaijin fixed them already.

You are struggling to get above Mach 1.65 at low-medium alt... it was easily getting Mach 2 in no time at that alt prior. It's overall acceleration seems extremely Nerfed since it's release... whilst i agree it was too powerful... they MAY of overdone it... as it looks like they took a MASSIVE hammer to it and i cant see how such a massive discrepancy could be made (The difference is eye wateringly massive). IRL: EF could get to Mach 2.35 (Confirmed) and 2.5 (paper). It could supercruise at Mach 1.5 (Confirmed), but all pending altitudes. In game i have not seen it go above M2 until your video (2.15), the wings always ejected at Mach 2 lol.
This is completely false. The EF is capable of Mach 2.0 at altitude, clean, not 2.35, not 2.5. 2.54 is the top speed of the F-15C (which is far faster than any eurofighter). The 1.5 supercruise is only theoretical, and even in that claim, the eurofighter would need to have “light air-to-air armament and no external fuel tanks”, light air-to-air armament presumably being 2 wing mounted a2a missile of some kind. Mach 2.0 at 16km in altitude is what it is rated for, and expecting it to go 2.5 in war thunder (where you’ll likely never go higher than 12km) is ridiculous.

"Speed", "Flight Ceiling", "Acceleration", "Air payload" and "Pilot Work" were the only things the Eurofighter beat the Rafale at. Supercruise is simply stated "as promised" and "impressive". On paper (claimed) it's top speed is 2.5. Achieved by several nations was 2.35 level (and yes probably at altitude) but the tests would of been in "Basic configuration" due to being in evaluation... which would add up, if you remove the drag and weight of basic config, you would expect around 2.5 from 2.35. I can also confirm that the EF and Rafale beat Hornets and Gripen's at absolutely everything. Also if you said the F-15E with those beastly 229's was faster... i would not debate it... But the C? C uses the old engine that gives out only a fraction more than the EF... but the F-15 frame is much heavier than the EF's and has way more drag...

Thrust is not a static value, with increases in speed, engines often lose or gain thrust depending on said speed. For example the 229 of the F-15E has more thrust whilst going Mach 1, than it does while static. It also has less thrust whilst going Mach 2.5 than it does while going Mach 1.5 (1.5-1.6 being where it has the highest thrust at altitude.) it’s a reasonable assumption that the EF’s powerful engines would mean that it would naturally go faster than an F15C, however the EJ200’s start to lose thrust at M 1.7, and starts to equal that of the F100-PW220’s when nearing mach 2. Either way, even if the claims of 2.35 were possible for the airframe to achieve without tearing itself apart, it would only be capable of such speeds whilst completely clean. External weaponry and equipment has a massive Impact on the top speed of an aircraft, and the rating of mach 2.0 most likely assumes it’s equipped with at least a few missiles, it would be unreasonable to make the EF able to hit 2.35 in game outside of it being completely empty of weaponry and having a very light fuel load. Especially considering that the M 2.35 is still only a claim, and there’s far too little evidence to back it up. Unless you’d like to send me a link to your sources?

Information i have stated comes from multiple sources... Leaks, the opposition, the providers and observation, all can be cross checked with a bit of common sense and math... the ONLY way you can get more information is by having the designers sit you down and tell you their life work OR stealing one yourself... as FM's for European in service combat aircraft stopped existing over 2 decades ago due to opsec reasons.

But it’s had a couple of pretty significant buffs to its manoeuvrability since… though the fact the rafale has a higher thrust to weight is a bit of a slap in the face considering literally the most significant difference between the two is the fact that the eurofighter has a better thrust to weight. We’ll have to see how they come in the live server

I absolutely adore the german mains coping that it got nerfed. I've been playing it for 3 days now. It's still by far the best aircraft in the game. Fucking 20Gs and the germans are still complaining

The germans have been complaining nonstop for years even though they've had the best MBT in the game for a solid 5 years straight now and had the mig29G (which was the best aircraft in the game for 6 months) and act like they've been suffering this entire time. Then they get the best jet in the game and it is STILL not enough for some people

They are placeholders as the radars arent in the game yet, they are taken off the sea harrier FA2 if im not mistaken
