The White Cliffs of Dover by Vera Lynn cover for Jess

Thank you Jess for sharing this song of peace with me today. Thank you for helping me understand that these cliffs were symbolic of WWll and how we can hope for peace by wishing to see Bluebirds rather than bombs over this majestic landmark. I am grateful for you Jess because you are my favorite playright and you are one of my favorite peacemakers and I am humbled that we get to plant seeds of peace together. We have lots of time to continue to serve those in need and work towards peace considering Vera Lynn, the voice behind this song, lived to 103 years old. She would have been 107 this month. She famously said that "War tears people apart, but Music brings people together". She spent many of her years singing for soldiers and advocating for benefits for their widows. I tried a little instrumental of Eric Johnson's Cliffs of Dover to start and end this moment in the sun. Thanks again Jess for your creativity, your art and your compassion.
