Every pitcher has at least one bad game, even Mo Rivera (2001 WS G7, anyone?) The truth is that if you look at Billy’s stats, I’d put his 900 career innings pitched against those of any other pitcher in baseball history. He deserves to be in the Hall, and will make the Hall better once inside.
