Great job as usual. I rotate the sink unit front rail so it is sitting vertically rather than horizontal. You won't need to weaken it by cutting most of it out and also still fix the material you need to support the undermount sink.. Better still, if you use material the same depth as the sink, 150mm-200mm , this will hide the side of the sink when the doors are open. Worth a try.
Was going to suggest the very same thing myself! Exactly how I do my kitchens... I also use a header board pocket screwed over dishwasher ( or any other undercounter appliance) in matching carcass material. Very tidy job though Robin as always 👍🏻
@@MrJez1978 same here regards the spacer board for the dishwasher, etc. I tend to leave it in if it's solid surface worktop or if it's laminate worktop I remove it once the top is fixed down then fit the dishwasher, etc.
Hi Robin. Love your videos and all the great info. I am a cabinetmaker in the states and we build kitchens very similar to what your are doing all the time with all the Legrabox, etc. Can you expand more on the strip of wood you added to the bottom of the end panels? I totally understand why you do it but I don’t imagine it looks very good and I know your are a stickler for the details! Or.....are those panels just primed with green primer and all will be painted on-site? Cheers!
Hi Robin, must say looking good, don't you love it when a plan comes together. Those Blum hinges look the business were they from Hafele. Great job as always, thanks.
That’s going to look brilliant when it’s done. What type of metalwork are you going for? Brass/gold would look smart against that green. Quality work as always, so many times you see sinks sagging because they’re not supported properly. Taking the time to do the job properly 👌
Loving the work as always Robin, out of interest when you give cutrights a cutting list do you have to specify where you need all the holes pre-drilling or do they work it out from a kicthen plan and draw/door spec, also could you have done the end Pannels in tricoya MDF or does that just work out to costly for the minimal risk, love the work. 👍🏻
You could ask cutwrights to manufacture a sink carcass with a solid 18mm egger top and set it down 3mm to accommodate the under mounted sink.. that what I do for my Clients.. Jon (the bespoke build)
Hi Robin. Another enjoyable video, Thank you. Can I ask is there any reason you have the Milwaukee gas less finish nailer as apposed to the Hikoki? I'm looking to buy gas less myself as they are a little more pleasant to use while customers are in the house. Like you I use a lot of Hikoki cordless tools so naturally would gravitate towards a matching nailer. I have used the Hikoki at a tool show and only downside was the weight over my gas gun. Appreciate your opinion.👍
How can an hobbyst built cabinets with melamine plywood that look like that, no screw visible? Would a Lamello p2 with the Clamex Tenso P and an adhesive work?
I do my sinks in the same way and wonder why other installers just silicone or allow it to sit proud. I like Robin's style but am not sure about how dark the cabinets are. I mean the outside is one thing and you can flood the kitchen with light to compensate... but wow are those boxes or "carcasses"dark inside!
@@wcopter5514 That is probably a lot to do with Lockdown. Robin shot hours and hours on his own and it is very time consuming going through footage that was shot by somebody else.
Not keen on the end panel lipping 👎 you can get special metal feet the panels sit it, look really smart. I would've just used MR MDF though, don't really use standard MDF for anything these days.
Thank you Robin for the kitchen fit out series, your calm and precise explanations are a pleasure to listen to.

I love the door hinges!!!!
Good to see the forewoman @11:59 keeping you honest Robin 😉
Great work, always a pleasure to watch you work 👍
Beautiful job , love the colour 🤩👌🏼🧱👍🏼
Very nice. All those details and overview tips are really helpful. Keep up the great work Thank you. Jim
Looking awesome Robin! Bet your wife must be over the moon with her new kitchen.Well done! Cheers.
He could be making it out of 14ct gold and missus wouldn't be happy with something mate 😉
Hi Shaun, my wife is really happy with the kitchen especially as it is all finished now!!! Cooking hasn't improved though!

1:03 onwards he explains
I love the large sink and the underbowl support.
Love the green. Quite unusual. Never seen it before
Richard has good taste! He comes across as being very artistic too! I’m sure he can turn his hand to most things.
outta sight .... stunning work again man
Would have never picked that green for doors but seeing them up, looks amazing 😍
Richard definitely has a keen eye!

Hafele Doesn't sell BLUM in the UK. go to BLUM UK for a list of distributors.

Speaking of time... that brassgold and rose gold are already out.
Have not seen these vids in a long time.
Looks nice
Class workmanship
Love the paint finish on the doors
Cracking kitchen, how did you go about designing and specifying each panel? Must have been on some software?
Whats the best blade to cut the laminate boards without chipping.

Hi Robin. What was the cost of this kitchen without fitting?
Cracking job, but I can't help thinking Robin is Ronnie Corbetts long lost son! 😂
It's a goodnight from him.....
Little bit of Kenneth Williams there, too?

Hi Robin, do you run a datum batten to screw those wall units & full height units to as well?
😎 class as always hows ya didnt nick d skirting with a multool knowing u robin ders a good reason

Is that the M12 surge impact? Have you had any issues with the surge model?
Beautiful kitchen. Did you get your carcasses made from cutwrights as well? Or was it just the doors.

That level leant up against the end panel was putting me on edge 😂
Nice job...will you spray or hand paint the kitchen when all is fitted?
Nice saw horses, when timber gets knackered just unbolt and replace? Stealing that.
Very informative video Robin....did you use the impact driver to wind some people up😂🤦♂️

Richard knows what he’s doing! B
0:40 I think Robin wanted that bit cut out as he repeated himself afterwards!
People are asking if Robin ever makes mistakes so perhaps that is why the editor left it in, or maybe it was the editor who made the mistake.
Who cares the guys a genius
@@SkillBuilder Seems to happen a lot lately. (The messed up edit that is)
Matt Sidebottom Newton was a genius!

Lol 😂 there are them that can and them that teach
Impeccable . Feeling a bit useless now .
hi m8 how much does that cost ?????? sorry had to ask lol
I’m guessing Milwaukee bought it for him 😉😂🧱👍🏼

Out of interest how come you dont use japanese pull saws for fine cuts? They seem to be popular on youtube carpenters
💙👊😎
Japanese pull saw ?????
Lovely work as always, however the amount of adverts in the video is now very annoying
Sorry about that It is a long video
That's the price of free at the point of use.
Treble work! Handsaw? Really?
Yeah, I understand it's to difficult get all measure in the beginning, make all cut and only after this paint panel...
Can't believe you use standard mdf in a kitchen , a better product can't add that much to the kitchen ,when allowing how long you expect it to last
Why am I watching this? I live in a 25 sqm apartment 😢
