It's the summer of 2000. I was a young kid, and my aunt is reading the local newspaper. She sees an ad for a showing of Pokemon 2000 in the movie theater. Knowing her nephew was heavily engrossed in Pokemon fever, decided to spend a weekend watching the movie with her nephew. The day arrived, she picked up her nephew and drove to the theater in her green Jeep Grand Cherokee. Once we arrived to the theater, I was gifted the coveted Ancient Mew card from the ticket clerk. We got our seats, lights go dark and the movie begins. I heard this song for the first time; it created a core memory that I still cherish and love today.

I’d argue to say it was after 4kids stopped writing and dubbing the show and movies(after season 8 and the Lucario movie). Not to say that everything that came after was terrible though, rather it just didn’t reach the same heights as what came before it.

What if the Pokemon World only had 8 Regions? And all came out together worldwide in 1996 as Gen 1's version-exclusives? With each Region having 250 unique Pokemon(2,000 in total) and different male/female protagonists who won their respective Pokemon Leagues(as tournaments) and become the Region's first Champion. Also, what if all versions shared the same post-game location? That's the entire world with each Region shrunk down to city-size(like 97 Spaceworld). As the protagonists go around to collect Champion Badges to compete at a Masters Eight Tournament on Mt. Silver(located at the center of the world). And every protagonist would compete each other to become the world's first Pokemon Master. And every 5 years after Gen 1, a sequel Gen comes out on a new Nintendo hardware. As the events would always happen 5 years after the last adventure. With new protagonists who'd follow their predecessors' footsteps to become the next Regional Champion and Pokemon Master. And after that, they'd beat their predecessors and surpass them. So in conclusion, how'd Pokemon have been like in an alternate timeline? And how'd we have liked that from our altered memories and experiences? And what would've changed about the Pokemon franchise, including games' qualities, merchandise, and the Anime(including theatrical films)?
@@DaTateYT Yes, Maractus and all Pokemon we know from our current timeline exist in that reality's multi-region Pokemon games. While also including scrapped mons like Gorochu, Gyaoon, and Omega. And each sequel introduced new forms like Regional Variants and Megas.
All the others are slower and run in a lower key. The movie 2000 version seems like the only good rendition and this is the closest to that tempo and key
