The North Japan Honor Green Band performing at the 2011 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Bandfest on Thursday, December 30th. This is the band's 1st appearance down Colorado Blvd. The band, part of a larger Green Band Association, is a charity band formed 10 years ago and headquartered in Kyoto, Japan, the center of Japanese culture and former capitol of japan.
The 180-member band was created specifically for this march at the Tournament of Roses and consists mostly of high school and college students from Hokkaido, Japan.
