- Welcome to today's sh*t show. I'm bleaching the underside of my brunette hair by myself with Ion Cream Lightener, for the first time ever. Does it go well? Is it orange? Did I burn it all off? Stay tuned to find out....

I considered cutting my own hair, but so many videos I found the end result is the length I start with :D I got too scared and chickened out. Yours turned out great! Nice length and the bleach turned out well.
I hate that feeling of hair getting stuck to chairs and things too! It is basically what stops me from letting it grow. Now I'm wondering if I have secret greys growing in the back of my head that I don't know about.

Loving the hair! It looks nice on you and I totaly understand the light weight feeling after you cut your hair. I never let my hair grow too much cause I dont like the heavy feeling. I had a nightmare Salon experience where my hair was much longer than is in this picture and by the time they we're finished with it it was too short to get a pixie cut. I am so obsessed now with keeping my hair long it literally gets stuck in my armpits when I'm sleeping if I forget to put it up. Bless his heart when hubby was still with me he would roll over in bed and I'd be trapped and have to wake them up. I have to draw a line but to be honest I think that will be when I start to sit on it. I think I have another year before that happens. I haven't bleach in a salon not that you can always trust them but it's simply so long I can't handle it on my own anymore. I have to go back but I have such a salon phobia that I avoid going until I have a good of roots which I hate. Thinking of saying goodbye to the bleach and trying to find something closer to my natural hair colour. No matter what you do the bleaching does damage your hair and if you're not having it cut out it can't ever be repaired. Sorry for my novel. I think your comfort and Sensibility has made me willing to try and put a few streaks in my bangs. I did that for years when I had short hair and it always turned out fine just a few and if I'm happy then just add a bit at a time. Sorry I made my novel even longer. By the way your hair looks lovely

Noo no extra bleach! Maybe blue or purple?! Idk the colour wheel stuff to help balance it wvery few days a few drops in conditioner
I put some temporary pink conditioner in it every once in a while and it's so fun!
I have no idea who Bea is, but I'll have to see if I can find her channel.
I love the bleach underneath. It looks great on you. It's something I'm thinking about doing with my own hair, although right now my hair is all bleached a caramel-y colour. So it's something I'll consider for the future. Your result is lovely.

It definitely took some time to pump myself enough to feel like I could do it! But that's the beauty of doing just the underside lol, easier to hide mistakes!
