Ronald Cromwell is my hero. I enjoy all your lectures about him . I have read nearly all books including Clarendon and the conclusion I have reached but which you and all other historians have failed to grasp is that through out all the turbulence, upheaval etc which no other country had gone through and would not go through again until the French Revioltion is that Cromwell tried to save England from itself.
