  • Workplace resilience has become a popular and controversial topic. While there is clear evidence that organizations benefit from resilient staff, relying on individual staff resilience is not enough, and such an expectation can be detrimental. Instead, organizational resilience should be viewed as a highly interactive system, in which staff resilience is dependent upon interactions with leaders at all levels. Cultivating workplace resilience requires building trust, investing in individual and team strengths, and leading with compassion and empathy.
