That was really good, thank you for showing our area so nicely. Lawrence has always been a hero for me, the little church at St Martins has such a calm atmosphere, I am sure Lawrence prefers to be represented here. There is a tea room in Wareham where Lawrence had a favourite window seat, there are also some lovely photos of his Brough parked in the town too. The museum is very good at pointing these out should anyone visit. On my Birthday every year I visit his grave. Thank you from Swanage ( A few miles from Wareham) Note to visitors, don’t go by the national weather forecast, more often than not we are basking in Sun on this little Purbeck peninsula :)
I really enjoyed the history lesson! The scenery you go through is beautiful and the visit to his retreat was very interesting. Thank you for sharing this bit of history with us!
That was so interesting. I’ve never seen the movie. I must go and watch it. With all the interesting stops, someone needs to create a Lawrence of Arabia adventure lab. 🦀
That's a great idea. We were very surprised at how many links to Lawrence there were in quite a short distance. Yes definitely watch the movie. I think I have watched it around five times since first seeing it in the sixties.
That sauté mushroom platter looked GOOD!!! :O Looking good on that motorcycle. Have you done any motorcycle tour cache videos? Thanks for the history walk of Lawrence.
Ah I was actually looking at this cache recently as I’m heading to Weymouth next year. (Prickly thing) brambles! Nice cache find! Well didn’t check Morton out but now I have thanks for that. Added these to my list lol 😂 I can see just how much you have both enjoyed being in England! Wow a working telephone box that’s rare! Have a happy new year!
At least you didn't have to ride a camel to get there. Although that might have been fun. Furnishings were very sparse. Always nice to stop for a snack. Karen is a great lover of tea.

Thanks for the history lesson. Watched that movie so many times.
Same, love the movie.
It is interesting to see the real locations of a character that we know above all from the famous film. Thanks for another nice history walk!
Yes we were surprised when we found the house then all the other connections to Lawrence.

Unfortunately no videos of our tours yet. We rode across the US on a Harley Electra Glide but it was a year before we purchase our first GoPro.

Yes, lucky no camels 🙂 I have never ridden one but people say it's not the most comfortable ride 🙂
