      That’s call I drank growing up! Soda! My dad owned a beer shop! Then my wife and I gave up soda ! Went to tea! Then I started drinking water with lemon !

      @@efsmiley1995 I think monk fruit is great, I use it sometimes for a little bit more of a kick with stevia also, but my go-to is allulose.

    For the candy craving just have an 85% Dark Chocolate bar (or higher cocoa). It will satisfy your cravings while only giving you 1/3 the sugar in a soda can.

    Make your own ice cream, real cream and eggs yolks, a dash of vanilla blend, freeze and voila. Its delicious. No sugar or carbs

    Really like these food replacement videos. They’re like little reminders. Honestly now that I know about inflammatory seed oils and sugars, I’d still only stick with the more nutritious options here or nothing at all.
    A fan of the plain whole yogurt with fruits, smoothies, protein shakes, honey, stevia,
    electrolytes, lentils, burger without the bread. All great options. I’d add kombucha too.

    I replace mayonnaise with lite sour cream and a little salt for things like tuna salad and dips. Less caloric and not all the oils.

      I want to try that! I like to whip a small amount of heavy cream with organic stevia drops. Put it in the freezer for 20 minutes and add raspberries. Satisfying.

      Just got a creami. Sams has them on sale $119. I even use cottage cheese and yogurt. Raw cacoa is great. Just got raw 100% grass fed non denatured whey protein powder. $79 for 5 lbs 90 21 gram protein. Game changer! It’s great and I feel fantastic after consuming.

    All these cravings can be addressed in a healthy manner by only eating at home and using appropriate substitutes and taking your water with you. My goal for 2024 was to not consume anything not from my own kitchen. Almost 6 months in and I've only ordered pickup steak and salad twice (dressing at home) so I'm not doing too bad.

    Oh, let me add my chix nug recipe too. I cook with avocado oil or macadamia nut oil because of the quality of omegas but also the high smoke point.
    I use tenders so I don’t have to cut anything, smart chicken brand. I dip in flour, then dip in an organic beaten egg, then Panko bread crumb. Heat the oil to 350F or so then shallow fry a couple tenders at a time. For me 3-4 mins a side. Absolutely amazing and the oil is of high quality and mildly degraded. I use a sugarless ketchup, it’s 1g sugar (from the tomatoes) in 1tbs. Good luck y’all!

    The Epic Bison Cranberry is my go to for a little protein on the go. Love it! For a sweet tooth, I like the Joolies small box of 3 Dates. Dates are so sweet it usually does the trick. But if I'm really craving chocolate, I go to the Bulk section of the grocery store and get 4 or 5 dark chocolate covered Pecans. It costs next to nothing and I get my chocolate fix.

    Also for ice cream options, just blend a frozen banana with a splash of milk and boom you have banana ice cream. Very healthy option with no added sugars.

      Good idea, I will try that. I have made my own ice cream 🍨 and for me the effort is not worth it. I’d rather eat it less often and just buy some quality ice cream. But I’m always looking for good options and this sounds good. I’ve used frozen berries in the distant past, so long ago I can’t remember exactly what I was trying to achieve.

    To get over candy bars, I will just make keto fat bombs or usually go towards lily's dark chocolate. The cranberry epic bar is my favorite meat bar though. My soda of choice is Zevia. Once you get used to the taste, it is wonderful.

    Zevia and bubly makes me feel like I have a little treat each day. Keto yogurt vanilla / coconut/ strawberry flavors are a good option so creamy. My kids have grown up with alternatives their whole life I am so proud they have grown to love my antics lol it's all out of love 😊

    If you want a replacement for pasta for bolognese sauce or rice for chili con carne sauce, then try cauliflower, especially if you keep it a little crispier. It's a great combo with any tomato sauce, really.

    Sir Kensington's avocado oil mayonnaise and Primal Kitchen no sugar ketchup are great options if you really crave those condiments. Allulose can be added to the ketchup if you want a little sweetness.

    For the milkshake, do a scoop of protein powder, serving of almond milk and add ice. Gives you that same milkshake consistency. Mix in a single serve blender....blend and enjoy

    Some more alternatives I've found work great:
    Potato Chips - Siete chips
    Candy Bar - Quest protein peanut butter cups
    Ice Cream - Halo Top (but more likely Breyers CarbSmart since halo is insanely expensive)
    Burger - bring keto/fiber bread with you to use as the bun
    Sauces - sugar free/no sugar added ketchup
    Cereal - Magic Spoon

    If you're craving a chocolate candy bar, a dark chocolate bar sweetened with stevia is a great alternative. My favorite is Lily's dark chocolate bar. It satisfies my chocolate cravings without any sugar.

    Quick candy bar Giardelli dark chocolate chips and nuts.
    Topo Chico with fresh key lime juice is a glass bottle, Celtic salt on rim.
    Keep grass fed taco meat on hand and make your own bowls. Chipotle uses seed oils.
    Make grass fed hamburgers regularly at home.
    Keep deviled eggs with mustard and a little pickle relish on hand.
    Seven Sunday cereal
    Boars head meats

    What about homemade potato chips? I sometimes slice a potato really thin and cook them in the microwave with a little bit of olive oil and salt. Tastes divine once you got it right.

    Instead of the options for chips do pork rinds, cheese crisps (preferably home made but whips and a few store brands are good) or make your own air fried coated in salt maybe some parmesan and animal fat or coconut oil veggie or potato chips. With burgers you can get even a value menu burgers sans bun with a side salad and to that but bring your own lemon juice and oil ask for salt and pepper packets for dressing. On sodas there is diet sodas and there is stevia or sparkling water which you can add your own electrolytes to and you can add true lemon packets and stevia. Chocolate or candy there are Lilly's and Justin's chocolate and Russell Stover now has a line of stevia sweetened sugar free chocolate. You can also make your own granola with nuts some small amount of dried fruit xantham gum and a sweetener and maybe some nut butter you could use a nut flour or carnivore flour or protein powder to really ramp it up. The whole sandwich thing is great. With ice cream you can make your own with cottage cheese or coconut/almond milk and use all kinds of flavorings like goog goog brand sugar free jam that uses stevia and eyrithritol as sweetener do that with a sugar free chocolate melted to make a say raspberry chocolate swirl. Also if you chop up some of those Russell Stover sugar free stevia toffee things and add some PB or nut butter and sweeten with stevia you get toffee and PB or nut flavored. On chicken nuggets low carb love recently showed a 3 ingredient chicken nuggets recipe using ground chicken egg and Parmesan. You could do that though I found adding a bit of low carb flour gets crispier results. I've also used with canned mackerel and canned salmon or canned tuna for fish nuggets. And btw on mayo did you know to make a healthy one all you need is a blender eggs oil and vinegar? You can use live culture acv or even brine from sour kraut or komboocha to make it and it will be a fermented food safe at room temp for months. So yeah here's some tweaks to your list.

    Just wanted to throw out a recipe that’s amazing, sweet and super healthy.
    370g Greek yogurt Fage 0%, add one scoop of your fave choco protein powder. Mix, then cut up some fresh strawberries and or pineapple, whatever fruit you want. I add 300g pineapple typically because the bromelain helps digest the yogurt. Hope this helps someone.
    I’m also 6’3” 240 lbs so adjust the weights as needed

    I find if I try to substitute what I'm really craving I end up eating it ASWELL as the thing I've just eaten to try stop my craving! So now I could have doubled my calories instead of just having what I was craving all along!

      The key is to limit or eliminate them because they aren't doing much for you other than easing the craving. If you can have cooled boiled potatoes with chopped boiled eggs and a little bit of olive oil, salt and pepper that will probably be your best bet.

      Potatoes cooking in oil have acrylamide which causes cancer.
      Believe me I’ve been tempted with those chips. I have to tell myself old programming.

    Pizza burgers (patty, sauce, cheese) are very satisfying. I use a squirt of Stur in my sparkling water. They make a grape flavor that is wonderful. Love Good Fats makes some decent bars that satisfy a sweet craving.

      Because Farm raised salmon is total garbage with the crap they feed them and eating fish waste in those holding pens...same goes for shrimp..all restaurants serve farm raised shrimp unless they specifically advertise on their menu that its wild caught..

    My cravings are texture based. For example, if I want chips I don't want a baked potato. I am going for the crunch so carrots are a better sub.
    Also regarding soda, how about a stevia sweetened soda like zevia or even better kombucha.

      I buy 70/30 1 pound like 5$ that 3 1/3 pound patties seasoned the way I like add cheese for calcium, eat with a fork. What's wrong with that. Buying a 1/4 patty for 6-7$ with God knows what in it seems ridiculous.

    French fries, chips are bad..very bad regarding with the carcinogen acrylamide. You can do carrot chips at least it would be the least amount of a poison out of them.

    When I need a quick meal away from home, I'll just go to a grocery store and get some shredded chicken or turkey breast. Pretty much any store has that on hand, and it's cheap. Deli ends, too.

    Nothing can replace potato chips. What else is crispy, salty, delicious, without having to bake something yourself? Smoked salmon on a cracker maybe but smoked salmon is expensive.
