Such a fab review! I’ve had this bag on my wishlist for YEARS and I think it’s gonna be my next luxury bag purchase. Im looking on the preloved market because I really wanted the feet and I know the smaller size comes with feet in the older versions. I also LOVE how it’s carried as a clutch. I think it’s such a fresh and unique way to carry it. Thanks for such an in depth look into the Puzzle. So appreciate it.

❤ this bag! I removed the short handle, and re-sewed a trigger snap in the leather loop, and now the short handle is removable. I never use the short handle, so it just adds bulk/weight - best modification ever! I do leather work as a hobby so I know how to restore to it original form if I want to resell it.

BEST BAG I ever owned! i have the classic regular/medium Black one ( i used it more than 2 years now), it is absolutely amazing, I am 170cm, very skinny guy :) this bag is truly my soulmate!

He Nicolas! This vlog just popped up in my feed, even though it is two years old. I purchased the Loewe Puzzle (small) on New Year’s Eve and it is in the exact same colorway as yours except it is now called “Oak”. It is tone on tone just like yours, which I prefer. The smooth calfskin is buttery soft with beautiful complimentary gold hardware. I love it so much, especially the slouch. I too wish the zipper would run the full length of the bag but it’s a very minor con for me. I purchased a bag organizer so that it’s a little more organized inside and easier to locate my items. This is such a great review! I live in Italy and the closest Loewe boutique is in Milano: I'll go there in a couple of weeks to buy the puzzle bag in this same color (in the small size, though). Can't wait :-)

I am torn between medium and large and 99% of RUclipsrs buy the mini, small or medium.
I hear that spot where the leather tears happens on all sizes. So frustrating - but at least it’s fairly hidden.

I’ve only heard great things about the Loewe puzzle bag however I’ve seen it in the boutique in 2020 and I wasn’t impressed with the quality of the stitching I must say. But I always find it gorgeous in videos but it suits men better IMHO. I love the colour you picked. ✨

thanks for the review. Is the large heavy (before anything is in it)? I'm planning to get the small size in same color as yours. Planning a trip to Paris this Thanksgiving and I should hit up the same store as where you bought yours.
You are welcome! Honestly, I do not find it heavy at all. If you are purchasing it in Paris, I would recommend the Saint Honore boutique. If you are looking for a specific model and even if they do not have it in the boutique, they will have it ship to it (if available). That what happened with mine. Good luck!

Is the puzzle bag your favorite for carrying a laptop? I’m considering if this would be a good bag for students (carrying laptop, book/notebooks, etc. around the campus). I really like the look but the slouch is a bit concerning.
hahaha she is the best! Thanks for your comment and for subscribing! In my honest opinion, if you are carrying a small laptop, the large (or XL) puzzle bag is a good option. However, I prefer to use my Kelly 35 for this :)
Hi Nicolas. I just discovered your channel and love your videos. Please make more! I'm considering a Loewe puzzle size L. I also have a 13" laptop (macbook pro) and had a few questions: 1) when you put the computer in the bag, does it sit flat on the floor of the bag or must it sit on its side (or at a diagonal) to fit? 2) does putting a computer and standard 8.5x11" notebooks make the bag look misshapen or ugly when using it? Does it make the bag look overstuffed? 3) does putting a computer and notebooks in the bag tear, wear down, or otherwise harm the textile lining inside? 4) how would you say the bag, overall, has held up under wear and usage? what parts of the bag show the most wear? Given the shape of the puzzle bag I doubt I can find a bag organizer (or base shaper) that will fit it so the way the contents impact the bag's wear and shape are more important. Thanks for your thoughts!
Hi Jared, first of all, thanks for your kind comment. It means a lot. My loewe large puzzle is honestly my current favorite and I would not recommend it enough. To answer to your questions: 1) your laptop would have to fit in diagonal but I would recommend to not go with a 13" but a 11".
. 2) I'm generally carrying a 11" Google Chrome in this bag and while you can feel it, you don't really notice it from the outside. 3) I didn't notice any impact of the inside of the bag. 4) I would say that, despite some minor and expected scratches, as well as the leather damaged im referring to in the video, the bag has held up under wear and usage.
I haven't researched bag organizers for this particular bag. I hope this helps!

How would you compare this to the cross body / messenger style men’s hobo puzzle bag? They came out in 2023 and I think hasn’t been continued.

I have not seen the messenger style men’s hobo puzzle bag in real nor I have tried it so I cannot really give my opinion. Looking at this bag online, I would say it has a similar vibe to the classic puzzle but I am less a fan of the proportion. It looks less versatile and has no feet (from what I can see) so I like the classic puzzle better.

There used to be an XL version but it’s not in production right now. You could look for it preloved.
I just confuse whether I should buy the medium or the large one :(
I think both can answer to a specific need. For daily use, I like my large one but I would say that for dinner or going out, I can definitely use a medium one!
