Been a fan of Crown since The Fallout, mostly stopped listening when Dave left but the H E A V Y is pretty interesting. Doesn't sound like old CTE but still pretty good, different doesn't mean bad imo

Yeah, they should probably get him a coach to help with his screams. His lows are definitely better than on Sudden Sky, but his mids/highs still sound like someone who's just learning. Kinda surprised they haven't had Andy scream more, but at the same time he's been stepping up the cleans so I guess that's the tradeoff.

Been listening to them since Limitless. CTE always keeps me hooked and, as expected, I'm DIGGING this altered sound! I love Andy's cleans but it is true that the clean-scream dynamic can get a tad stale if you let it. Plus I'm a sucker for an aesthetic and this album's style so far is just perfect. "The Empire is pissed" indeed! 😂
YOOOOOOOOOOOOO i went into this with the same knowledge as you Nik i was expecting some nice melody's and catchy phrases and then from 0-100% throughout the entire song just going harder and harder, like not that i mind but jeeez this aint the typical empire we know but i like it :D
