Hello! I’ve had that item in my cart for months but haven’t bought it due to mixed reviews. This video is the most helpful piece of info I’ve had in over 4 months. PS, when I get it, your bread recipe will be my test recipe😊

So glad it was helpful! I know what you mean, this appliance does so much.... I'm having a clean out this weekend in my kitchen. Wishing you a lovely day ❤️
The bread looks amazing! After seeing your pink slow cooker, I got one of those and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Thanks for sharing this one because it does have great features! I might have missed it but does this new one kick over to keep warm after the slow cooker time ends?
I make that bread weekly, love it. I still have my pink slow cooker & love it too ❤️. I have used it for slow cooking and the newer one using a different function for the same meal. They both have their perks. To answer your question, yes, the new one does kick over to keep warm after the slow cooking time ends. Thanks for watching and have a fantastic weekend ❤️
Hi, I just bought this multi functional Drew Barrymore cooker and my question is, how long does it take to do the very first recommended use for this cooker when you do the braise function boiling water? The directions says to use that function with added 4 cups of water…I guess basically to cook off the new smell of the unit? Not sure I Did it correctly. Any information would be appreciated…I would like to begin using it now that I watched you instructional video. Thank you and please help. Carol
Good morning, the first recommendation is to boil 4 cups of water using the sear/sauté function (don't use the braise function to boil water). Press SEAR/SAUTE then TEMP. Press + to increase TEMP to 400°F and I set my time to 30 minutes (which if you remember from the video is on the hour side of the display) I hope this helps & thank you for watching the video ❤️
@@prettybaby80 You should feel heat in your pan when you turn it on, and it is on pre-heat. If you are not feeling any heat on pre-heat there is a problem. When I use the skillet function. I put my meat in while it is pre-heating and it starts cooking as it warms up to the temperature, I set it at.
Hi! I have a quick question….how long did it take for yours to pre heat because it took mine a little more than 30 minutes until it was done with the preheat and then it did a 5 min countdown.
I'm not sure which setting you are talking about but I'm leaning towards the skillet setting. The higher the temperature the longer it will take to pre-heat. I used mine yesterday, set it to 270° & it took approx. 5 minutes to get to temp. and then started the countdown which I had set to 30 minutes. It should not start counting down until the temperature is reached. (the default count down is 5 minutes, but you can change the time before you hit start/power button)
Mine usually changes from the circle to the time once the unit is at temperature. I have had it take up to 15 minutes to change over however it is cooking during that time.
Anyone else having issues with it going past pre ? Can’t get it to start count down. Not sure if mine is defective? Read a couple of reviews and similar issue.
The Preheat on ours seems to go excessively long. Water in the pot will be just boiling, its definitely to temp but still preheating. Eventually flips to the timer.
I contacted customer service. They advised that there’s an error in the manual. To set up first , it needs to be done on steam. The sear will only work if there’s a little oil in the pan otherwise setting will stay on pre - cs says a new manual will be published- insane that manuals went out with errors. Idk if this is even mentioned on their website.
@ that’s good to know! Thanks for replying! I have used it a few times now and I like it a lot, especially the rice cooker but I was worried the sear-sauté feature was defective haha

Mine is taking forever to preheat! I’m doing the pre-cook thingy from the instruction manual and it’s been on PrE forever.
