I'd be careful doing it that way up. The BB in my old road bike isn't sealed, so any metal filings in the seat post will go straight down the seatpost tube to the BB and can get in the bearings. So either check if your BB is a sealed type, or do it upside down, so any little metal shards fall out the frame. 👍👍
