Mr Loggins is a favorite of ours. Danny’s Song was our wedding song. In order to see him perform at California Adventure, my husband, Mark, called in to KOST radio so many times to win 2 sets of 4 tickets, to get our 6 children in to see. Mark was able to meet him that day. This Christmas, he was so excited to give me Celebrate Me Home cups and a shirt. Mark passed on Jan 23, 2021. We will be Celebrating him home on March 4th. My 21 year old son plays Always in All Ways on repeat, thinking of him. This song, Forever is, of course on the play list. Thank you for the many years Kenny.
I believe you have the most glorious voice of all time. I'm 45 years old and I still try to imitate that voice. I grew up watching Top Gun, Caddy shack, Over the top,. You name it and you were the soundtrack to all those precious blockbuster movies. I loved every song you have ever sang. My dad grew up with Logging and Messina. I even like your cousin Dave Loggins. You are a permanent staple in my entire gene pool. You are awesome. I truly thank you for sharing such a God Given talent. My son loved Pooh Corner. So now you've entered my 3rd generation. Just saw Kenny last night at The Hollywood Bowl with Jim Messina. Excellent show. He closed it out with this song and sounds incredible. Stayed behind after the show to shake hands and say hello to the fans upfront. I thought that was a small gesture that goes a long way.
Jon Anderson from "Yes" (Roundabout) is 78 and still sings all the old songs from the early 70s in the SAME KEYS as he sang them when he was 25. Check out their 50-yr Reunion on RUclips - ARW 50 Year Reunion Live At The Apollo 2018 (when he was only 74). And Corey Wells (3 Dog Night) was singing even BETTER in his 70s - before he walked on three Christmases ago. Bonnie Raitt is another . . . as are both Cher and Bette Midler . . .
The day has come and we do miss them. Kenny has his own style and voice. When he was with Messina and on his own. Every bit of it was enjoyable and today is very missed. Today they have great voices. But they all sound the same. Very little is original. We want songs brought back. But we also want to see the new from the new people. Their own creativity. We love the voices of the old. But they can never be an imitation to replace anyone. Occasional redo is a great. What made the seventies great. Was every band had its own sound. You knew by the first note or even the first voice word in the song. Who they were. Because everyone was distinctive.
My family started going to his concerts when he first went solo. To this day my daughters say that whenever they go to any concert, they use Kenny’s to measure them against- most don’t measure up. Absolutely love this guy❤️

This song takes me back to what was (at the time) a very difficult part of my life. Now (30-ish years later), I listen to it and it's absolutely incredible. Honestly, it makes me smile. If you read this, Kenny, THANK YOU for your time, your talent (and David Foster, of course), and this song. You have no idea the depth of my soul that this song touches, even to this day.

What a vocal range. An excellent song writer though he did have some help with this song. He has good collaborations. He can sing and write the rockers and the ballads and the songs even kids can relate to. But there was a whole generation of singers and some songwriters that could and some still do grab the attention of the audience and never lets them go. I wonder if that will be the true with recording artist going forward. I think those lights are fading fast. We just lost one this week Gordon Lightfoot.

I love this concert. I listen to it over and over. It really shows his musicianship in all the different ways he can use his voice, his phrasing, the arrangements ---- and his choice of musicians to play with him is brilliant. I was in Santa Cruz in the first half of 1993 and it pains me that I might have gone to this concert, but I don't know what month it was staged.

He wore a light blue satin pair of overalls and a white t-shirt. It was magical sunny evening then & it was magical when I saw him in the winter of approximately 2012 in The Gem Theatre in Mt.
