Excellent discussion (and timely - I was recently scoped for possible bladder cancer - happily all was well). One point that wasn't covered on the secondary cancer percentage - when I was researching my treatment options, I saw the 1.5% possibility of radiation causing secondary cancers. I also saw that the chance of dying on the operating table during an RP was also about 1.5%. The numbers canceled that concern with radiation. Just a thought and perhaps all wrong, but worth asking about.
