Thanks for the video. My mom has this generator and it stopped working. Her generators float had gas in it. If not for your video I would have not have known to check for that. I was gonna just get just the kit, which doesn't include a new float. I found the entire replacement carb on Amazon for about $30.

Thank You for the instructional clip. I had the same problem brand new gen used for about an hour then stored for 2 years. Took 3 times to figure out my float had a hole in it. i took a tiny drill bit drilled a hole where i could blow through it, found the original hole near the bracket mount soldered it all up and good to go.....hopefully....still have to assemble it.....thanks again

Excellent video. Thanks for sharing. I have same generator which had the same problem. Was able to getting it running by cleaning the carb but not taking it completely off to do a rebuild. It runs good now but stumbles every 10 seconds or so. I just might get the kit now. I wish you showed your gen running tho because I wanted to see how she ran after you put in the new kit. If you can post a quick vid, that would be great. Thanks again.

You forgot the emulsion tube, which are normally plugged if gas has gone bad, the tiny o rings on them also deteriorate quickly as well.

Nice Video, clear with good camera angles. I hope I can duplicate your skills and get this thing up an running again, otherwise it will be a great tent weight.

The one part of this video that I needed was how to put the Needle back in and just as you begin to put the needle back in you change to a different scene where you’re done putting it back in

Sorry... The part I passed over was mounting the needle onto the float which is just a matter of putting the spring into the little holes. Then, inserting the needle into the hole is shown in the following clip.

I didn't see you set the float level before you reassembled the carb.

Good video - did you have luck setting the valve seat correctly with the Philips screwdriver? - which you called a gasket.

If you don't thoroughly clean the idle jet, especially the microscopic orifice in the tip, the engine will never run correctly. Don't ask how I know.
