Red Fenders with matching headstocks will always make my heart skip a beat. My “one that got away” was an 04 MIM Sparkle Red Strat with a matching headstock.
This isn't the first time you guys have showcased this type of jazzmaster. It's the first time I can remember hearing Lemmo dishing out the kind of sounds that I have Associated since I was 18 years old with original Chicago guitar player Terry Kath. That probably wasn't intentional, but it came forth most during the piece he played on the bridge pickup.
That Jazzmaster looks great! Sounds good too. The Mastery bridge is a good choice. And the Coloursound wah! The best-sounding wah I ever had was a Coloursound wah/volume that I had in ‘74. Unfortunately it didn’t last very long-the pot went bad after just a few months; it got scratchy to the point that it became unusable, and I couldn’t get another one from Coloursound in England. Great-sounding pedal while it lasted.
Lemmo, you are amazing!!! I am OBSESSED with the JM sound and you continue to feed my obsession. I always look forward to see what you’re going to do next with the next JM you get your hands on 😂
Michael tryin' to bring the "rocker by night and janitor by day" from the 90s style back in vogue! Love to see it! I succumbed back then..wallet chains galore! anyway great guitar and always great playing Lemmo! Thanks to you and Jen for bringing us this short lived happiness everyday!
Mastery bridge is a good option, you can also put Mustang bridge on as they don’t have the threaded barrel saddles, just single slot barrel saddles. (Traditional strings for Jazzmaster and Jaguar are flatwounds, they play better with the threaded saddles, though I still had to file my Jag’s low E saddle slightly wider to hold the string better.
As always Mike has done an excellent demo. And what a beautiful instrument! But every time I see someone playing a Jazzmaster I notice that they aren't playing jazz. As Shakespeare famously said, "What's in a name?" But it is the greatest irony in the world of guitars that an instrument that was supposed to appeal to jazz players was ignored by them. Fortunately the market discovered them. But does anyone know of any jazz players that play one?
Great job Michael. I remember when those early original Fender offset type guitars were cheap and all over the place, I wish I grabbed one then! But it seems like some of the newer ones make the cut. Again, great job!
Awesome playing...really cool psychedelic stuff.Did you eat an edible before starting your shift today?(ha!ha!).Great creative stuff. That guitar really suits your playing...you need to get one man!!
Weird how you guys call the telecaster and strat from this line a "196X" reissue but not this one for some reason, it being a 1966 reissue. This is the same line as the AVRI guys. Its not the american original anymore, guys. Its year specific.
I wish the Yen were stronger…. Fender stuff become so expensive. It’s not only that Jazzmaster sound he also uses a good tube amp. You don’t get that sound with a shitty amp.
Lemmo is such a weirdo guitar player.. 😕 He is obviously a good player...but he always chooses to play the most bizaare stuff when demonstrating guitars. God knows what he listened to growing up 🤣

The FSR lines are the ones to look for.
@@anotheryoutubed Absolutely correct. The one I had was 1/166. Has made it VERY difficult to find another 😢
@@anotheryoutubedthe most underrated move in guitar buying
Lemmo needs to do an album of ambient music. Maybe three tracks, some delay, some production and we definitely need that wah.
Lemmo always goes into a different dimension when he plays a Jazzmaster. Always a treat
The smile on your face when you are playing a Jazzmaster....priceless...

I would like to congratulate Michael on his control of the "wah mouth". Great restraint on on "wahing" along with the pedal.
That was outstanding Lemmo !!! Beautiful JM !!! Thanks Jen !!!
Your playing is quite honestly inspirationally beautiful. I love it!
(And the guitar!)
Yes! Lemmo with a Jazzmaster! Thank you.

My goodness that was amazing sound. Thank you Michael and Jen. Happy Thanksgiving everyone ❤️
No wonder it sold instantly. Who wouldn’t want the mere possibility of playing like Lemmo.
Lemmo always makes the rhythm circuit sound godly. Always sounds so flat for myself

I just got the American Vintage 2 57 Strat. Great guitar too. I love this series.

almost purchased the same guitar last year, went for the 51 tele that was just so much better than any other in that shop, maybe another day.
absolutely the best sounds i've ever heard come from an odd guitar
Nice play as always but Red Jazzmaster sounds and look wonderful.
Great job Michael. I remember when those early original Fender offset type guitars were cheap and all over the place, I wish I grabbed one then! But it seems like some of the newer ones make the cut. Again, great job!

He sure loves a Jazzmaster guitar!
Beautiful guitar.
Great playing, but that was an effects pedal demo.
🙈 My God that’s absolutely delicious 😋 I want one 🙈👍🏻 great video once again. Thanks
I'd love to see what he can do with one of the Black Bobbins Jazzmasters. I also saw he played an Ultra Jazzmaster but didn't use the phase switch 😢
Awesome playing...really cool psychedelic stuff.Did you eat an edible before starting your shift today?(ha!ha!).Great creative stuff. That guitar really suits your playing...you need to get one man!!
Would love to hear "Sultans of Swing" by Michael.
Nice. What brand of bridge was the new bridge?
Mastery

Didn't the AVII line come out this year, not 2022?
Didn’t they do this video like 3 weeks ago?
Reverb says they came out last year.
@@joermnyc You are correct - they came out late last year. Time flies...

Too much Wah for a guitar demo.
too much reverb
Never too much reverb
