As the annual plant city Christmas parade already gets cut in half by a CSX intermodal when it gets cut into thirds by the silver star. One year someone would get run over by a train as all hell would break loose when many are standing that close to the tracks not having the worry when a train is barrelling down.

one thng you have to remember about people is 99% of them dont have a railroad default detector like you and the other railfans do so they dont know a train is coming until the crossing gates tell them when they light up.
People are so stupid. and i would have set up those train barriers 5 ft away from each side if the track. and would have prevented people from getting on the tracks
