Thanks for the comparison! Can really hear differences using headphones. Probably prefer the cedar bird, but I’m partial to cedar tops. Need you to compare it to a Lion next to see what difference koa vs rosewood for back/sides makes.
Wow, glad to see you play Alex, take it wrist OK. Thanks for this, such a treat to hear them compared. Love them both…may be one day. Cedar warmer and more projection for me. A1 demo.
Happy your hand is "back", Alex! Tough I really did like and was/am inspired by Phil's performances! Hair cut wise you beat him though, at least at TC5:11 😉🤣. Uke wise both instruments are are dream league - thanks for sharing!
I have the concert and I just could not get a lion at the time and the lion still is calling me lol but my concert would have to go to fund it, now I like to hear the lion and the cedar together, but the lion will still have the looks over the cedar but what’s the sound difference 🤔
I played 2 moonbirds against my less than 300 USD Breedlove tenor. Same volume, and Breedlove had better sound with Pepe Romero low G on it. I think upper end makers need to pick up their game. (All instruments should justify the price tag like does a Martin D35!)

I'll process my feelings about the sounds later (as you say, incredibly different), but great to see that you're able to play again!
How fun! Both stunners.
Loving all the cedar and bird puns! 😂
Great to hear them side by side. Despite being the lesser spotted species I think I prefer the cedar bird.
Just ordered one from you guys! (Well my brother did and it's being sent to me...) So excited!
Thanks very much

Damn. Cedar a bit warmer and Spruce a bit brighter but both superbly articulate and resonant. Coin flip
I really like cedar tops 👍😀
Awesome overlay on the sound sample! Both beautiful instruments, visually and tone.
Wahey, your hand has healed! Nice to see. :)
Both are awesome. Would be hard to choose 😊

The bird is the word.
Cedar all day, but they’re both outstanding.
Ill go with the OG spruce
Is there a freetboard steel rod?
Hope you get your hands on a hummingbird all the sound samples I've heard kind of like the lion just something special about them plus nice inlay
It's a Moonbird with a hummingbird on it should sound the same
@@raymondstebbins5904 Is it...? Or is it all in our heads 🙃
Dam good ukes

I love Breedlove (pun intended). They make great quality guitars and ukuleles.
Nice 👍😎
I sold my Moon Bird and bought a Cedar Bird, a much better fit for me.
I'm sure you'll flip the bird soon :P
