- We know what 100 kickflips does to a pair of shoes, but we had no idea what 100 slides would do to a new set of wheels. That’s why we grabbed three of CCS’ finest pros who also happen to ride for some of the best wheels in the biz and see what happens when you take Bones Street Tech Formula wheels for a 100 spins! Before you get all upset, we know they’re not all in there. It would have been a 20-minute long video if we put all 300 so we saved you some of the more boring stuff and tried to keep it exciting. If you need more convincing, just pick up a pair at CCS and do 100 yourself!

Yo I got a pair of just the regular bones 100's and I busted a fat power slide and they totally flat spotted, it was the first day of riding them too.

you don't test wheels by doing medium slides, you test them by doing one BIG slide.
Testing Street tech wheels at a skate Park? Why not SPF at the Park and STF on the streets?

I REALLY want to know how these skate on rough asphalt, since thats mostly what we have around here, even the skateparks are paved with rough asphalt, while the basketball and tennis courts are smooth as butter... you can tell where funds get allocated. To the "respectable" sports haha... looking forward to trying these wheels out...

CS, can you tell us if they are using spacers? Also how long are the spacers used if they did and how big is the middle core gap for each wheel set? I have had different measuremements for the middle core gap for different wheels from Bones but they only sell one size of spacers.

They’re for cruiser wheels... so you don’t get wheel bite. You would not need those for these sized wheels lmao.
Spacers are used to get rif of the wobbling while going at high speed and to spread the force on to the speed rings instead of all on the Bearings.
They are traditionally used for longboards and cruisers you are rigth on that one. I just got back into skateboarding and my super old skateboard from the 90s had spacers in them by default. So I thought it was normal for street skating as well.
Maybe im wrong, maybe its preference. Thats why I was asking :D

My current pair just got flatspotted after only 2 hours of riding, I think I got a defective set or something because I have owned 3 pairs of stfs in the past and they have never flatspotted. For a 65 dollar wheel it is unacceptable, I was just skating formula 4s and never had this problem. I might have to switch back to spitfire if I can't get this issue figured out because 65 dollar wheels should not flatspot in 3 powerslides, extremely disappointed hope to get a refund.

why not the skatepark ones??
STF's are for any skating really parks street transition freestyle but they are amazing and proven for street skaters but that is a good point as to why they didn't test out the SPF's at a skate park
The STFs are great in the park the spf are just too hard in my opinion
