The Royal Rumble was a great show but the best pay-per-view in the last 10 years how many pay-per-views have you not seen it was hardly the best pay-per-view in the last 10 years. Wrestlemania last year was much better..
The bloodline storyline is great... But I still feel like the Undertaker and Kane... Along with Paul Bearer, that storyline was the best in WWE history (TO ME!)

I watched the Rumble, and this was the first PPV I have watched in almost 15 years. Why the HELL do they have to change the f*cking camera angle every 1.2 seconds? Half the time they switch camera angles mid move, WTF? It's almost as bad as Hollywood when they try to make two pathetic actors look like bad asses in a fight scene by changing camera angles every .876 seconds. These men and women DON"T need tricks to be exciting and frankly it was almost unwatchable IMO. I love wrestling but for the love of God let me watch it.

I'm sure there is some of that, but to be honest, I assume most AEW fans who hate WWE (not all AEW fans hate WWE btw) are like myself, and hated WWE LONG before AEW existed. I turned to Impact and ROH and NJPW because WWE had turned me off long before and these other promotions offered something more akin to what scratched my itch as a wrestling fan. There's no rule that I have to watch one and dis the other - growing up I loved WWE(F) but also watched AWA, WCW, International Wrestling, Calgary Stampede, whatever was available. I did not stop watching WWE because I thought ___ was better, I stopped watching WWE because I didn't like WWE anymore.
Only my opinion but i disagree about Rics take on criticising wrestling. He referred to the hard work, togetherness and support for each other backstage as the reason why criticism is wrong. I build cars for a living. They are damn expensive and customers pay big bucks and therefore reserve the right to level criticism. I work with a lot of supportive, respectful people who would do anything to help others. However, when its time to sling the hash THEY SUCK (a small minority but what do they say about one bad apple spoiling the lot?). Some people just dont get it when its go time, supportiveness aside. In reality its about results. In my opinion the product produced over the last 30 years is lame. The attitude era was when even this hardcore fan stopped suffering every week. Started watching wrestling in 1968 in AWA country. For the same reason some Hollywood movies are no go zones is because the acting is poor. That was wwe since the end of the territories. Lots of wasted hard work... in my opinion
Who watches / pays for ppv to watch the women's match ? Yes they are so athletic and talented but man they don't tell the story like the men nor do they even make it look real. Kenny Omega is a great wrestler no doubt who can do cool things (fancy moves) but I've noticed his matches don't really tell a great story, he's more of an annoying heel vs a heel that can really piss you off, and he has not transcended wrestling across sports / entertainment, nor is he a household name.
