This is really great my 8th grader is studying medieval period this year in History, we have found some amazing books and activities. I did not see your free printouts outs down below so I wasn't certain if I should just go to your page or what I should do.. thank you for sharing it was amazing

I always look forward to what you put in your morning baskets. I would personally include some of Michael Morpurgo's books too.

We do a homeschool hybrid program and the curriculum is already supplied. There is a theme for each of the 6 units for the year. This has really inspired me to get more creative for my twins. I think they’d really enjoy certain aspects of what your basket includes. Thanks for the inspo! Great basket! Now I’ll be headed to your other videos for more how to’s!

What fun! How long does it typically take to do your basket? Do you do all the topics?

I've tried morning basket in the past with the oodles of books but it seemed so overwhelming for my little girl. I am still trying to figure out morning basket. By the time we complete morning basket she wants to be done with school! I get so frustrated.

We end each day with a read aloud,a chapter book. But I am considering opening each day. Reading aloud a simpler, shorter book or picture that is also on theme, so that would be our morning basket.
1 small book..or, one small video, or 1 music.
Not more than 1 thing per day, because I have an ADHD child and I have to keep our days to 6 lessons or things in total. If you find the book is too much you do not have to read every word.
