It was released on Strangeways, Here We Come in 1987. The remaster came out in 2011.

I wander if Mike will ever do a full band version of Owen just for one tour and documentation purposes - it'd be incredible especially the newer stuff , well everything now that I think about it! :)
He did play with a full band for a little while in the early days. There's even a video of him playing Femme Fetale with a backing band from 2002.

@@andrewhart6200 Unfortunately I'm just not a fan of the new stuff. Can't get into anything after I Do Perceive or the newer AF stuff but old Owen holds a special time and place in my heart.

wow this is before 9-11. i feel like 9-11 shaped a whole generation for those of us that can remember it. I was eleven years old and for me it was a benchmark for a loss of innocence/transition into drugs and alcohol, cynicism, and depression. Maybe coincidental, but I look back on things from my childhood and adolescence in terms of before or after 9-11. Sorry this doesn't have much to do with the video.
I'm not sure if you watched the JoA documentary but Tim speaks directly to this. I was 11 at the time of this also and not only did the world change but in many ways certain parts of my childhood were in the process of ending through what was to come - the future or the death thereof of one.
