Sir, while giving the initial instantaneous strain upto what strain value the material is subjected to? Is it sufficient that the stress be within the elastic limit or beyond?
Dear Sai In general, the creep stress applied is less than the yield stress of a material. Initial instantaneous strain in materials is determined by their mechanical properties, especially, by their elastic modulus. In certain instances, it depends on the microstructure and history of the sample. We do not subject material to any initial instantaneous strain; instead, it evolves as samples are loaded.
Amazing video!
very nice explanation
Thanks and welcome

Thank you so much sir for your explanation.
I also request you to make videos on the problem solving part in mechanical behaviour of materials.
