It worked! Haha! I had an appetite in time for supper! Of course all it took was a grilled cheese sandwich and a bowl of tomato soup, but it was good enough. That and we're talking salt free hospital soup. I definitely can't wait to get home again. I want good tomato soup and three cheese grilled cheese sandwich.

Difficult but not impossible to do it so the breast is moist. My son did a turkey "spatchcocked" (a chicken or game bird split open and grilled) on his Traeger pellet grill/smoker and the whole turkey came out succulent and moist. I found a (after Thanksgiving) a technique for doing a whole turkey sous vide. Definitely going to try that.
You need to have an eat off with Matt Stone. That would a great video, even though ur videos are great. Found them randomly and watch loads haha. U can really put it away xxx

Great job as usual chicki! My hubby brines our turkey in a homemade, simple salt brine, over night and it never ends up dry after being cooked! Our Canadian Thanksgiving is mid October, different to the blokes to the south of us. God Bless!!
Yup, brine that big dry gobbler. Me too. Then I get under the breast skin with butter and finely diced onions and walnuts. The stuffing alone just doesn't cut it.

i cook my turkey upside down that way the jucies are cooking throught the brest last hour cooking your turkey you flip it over and base yummy

Try smothering the turkey in butter under the skin, plenty of butter to keep it moist, truly delicious and I’ve done it twice before

Turkey breast is always dry, that's why you have to do half turkey half cranberry sauce LOL
